JadedWolf Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Well, if we're going to do all the Iron Maiden songs, can't forget this one: 1 Never attribute to malice that which can adequately be explained by incompetence.
Bartimaeus Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 1 Quote Against stupidity we have no defense. Neither protests nor force can touch it. Reasoning is of no use. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved - indeed, the fool can counter by criticizing them, and if they are undeniable, they can just be pushed aside as trivial exceptions. So the fool, as distinct from the scoundrel, is completely self-satisfied. In fact, they can easily become dangerous, as it does not take much to make them aggressive. For that reason, greater caution is called for than with a malicious one. Never again will we try to persuade the stupid person with reasons, for it is senseless and dangerous.

Bartimaeus Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) I've liked all of the instrumentals by this artist I've come across, but it seems like all of their songs that have vocals are usually much too vulgar for me...dangit. Woldan Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Eraserhead. I'm in a love-hate relationship with that film. Impossible not to hate it, impossible not to love it. And that song goes so well to those scenes... Edited May 3, 2014 by Woldan I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.
Woldan Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 I'd sell my whole family to slavers to get a high def version of this song from this particular concert. I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.

Bartimaeus Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) I can't believe I sat through a minute of that song before it hit the vocals and I realized I hated it. Walsingham Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Saw the last episode of Hemlock Grove. Like a bazillion other people I immediately looked up this song. I know it's sappy, but it actually made me miss all the parts of my family who are dead, gone, and/or forgotten. Teared up a bit, which, you know, is bloody helpful just before going to work.
