This is really weird, I just made a mess of a German swear word in a PoE thread, and now this test gave me Germany as my country. Kinda scarily accurate:

You’re incredibly hardworking, efficient, and disciplined. If you promise to get something done, you absolutely will. You can come across as a bit too serious, but deep down you’re great fun.

What the hell is Eurovision, anyway, I had to pick two girls kissing, because of course.

Damnit! I missed that as I didn't get that far, I recognized Lordi and went "Oh someone I know!"* and clicked the check box.

*I actually know about from Eurovision, actually...

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

enhanced-buzz-30218-1393158631-2.jpgYou’re extremely liberal and you love being close to nature. You can sometimes seem a bit aloof, but that’s only because you enjoy silence. You’re honest, reliable, and exceptionally loyal.

(And J.R.R. Tolkien based Quenya on Finnish, I'm told, so that's a nice bonus.)

I'm Norway; didn't we had someone in the forums who was from Norway?

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

Not so much funny, as horrific. There exists a place in Great Britain ... London ... a tearoom designed for patrons who enjoy the company of cats. A cat cafe. It's a real place, with real cats and real people lined up outside, to drink tea with cats. My dark paladin from PoE has refused to comment on the repugnant immorality of such godless feline worship.

Thought occurred to me: if you wanted proof that the Umbrella Corporation is run by total mentalists it's that they have a gazillion clones of Milla Jovovich ...and the best use they can think of for them is making them run a maze and die.

Not now and not in 1000 years.

I wouldn't bet my life on that, we've come far in just 100 years, scientists will find a practical way to manipulate gravity within the next 200 years.

I gazed at the dead, and for one dark moment I saw a banquet.

There is no force on earth that can just cancel out gravity unfortunately. Not now and not in 1000 years.

Well I've learned to say "Never say never." It's amazing how someone born in the 1920s would see planes evolve from rickety bi-planes to Spitfires and Me 262s dueling over the Europe to F-14 Tomcats to remote control craft that are exploring Mars.

Hell, if you had told me in 2004 that in year's time there would be a hastle-free video streaming site that anyone with broadband could view and upload 10 minute videos all for free, I would have laughed in your face.

“Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.”

"The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

Well, if they have a gazzilion of them, who's to say that haven't put a few aside for...other purposes.
