Creepy as.

Not really. The 'Beast of Haverfordwest' is a retired farmer called "Dai the Maniac." He is merely roaming slightly north and eastwards of his usual hunting grounds (i.e. the Fishguard branch of Aldi where he rifles through the bins and drinks abandoned cider until he passes out).

Dai will finally get bored of chewing cattle and go home to his day job as a traffic warden until the next full moon.

For those who are not UK-based 'Dai the Maniac' is none other than Monte Carlo.

Is it weird of me that the only thing that grabbed my attention on that story's page is the picture of the cute squirrel on one of the "earth news" links?

... the picture of the dead sheep, why is it painted with blue?

It all began with the singing, the harmonious and mellifluous crooning of the native sons of Cymru, it dug itself into my brain and would not let go. That such aural beauty could exist seemed to mock my own crude and ill formed attempts at song, I fell silent as a youth and grew bitter and strange, divorced from my kith and kin. They had neither the ears to hear or the eyes to see what a farce our crude lives were, I despised and pitied them.

A madness took me and I slaughtered my kin and feasted on their flesh, their souls would live on in me so that they might hear at last what heaven sounds like. I now stand shaved, free of the farmers marks on my fleece, pretending to be human and as yet no one has caught me.

Jones the psychopathic sheep.

Quite an experience to live in misery isn't it? That's what it is to be married with children.

I've seen things you people can't even imagine. Pearly Kings glittering on the Elephant and Castle, Morris Men dancing 'til the last light of midsummer. I watched Druid fires burning in the ruins of Stonehenge, and Yorkshiremen gurning for prizes. All these things will be lost in time, like alopecia on a skinhead. Time for tiffin.

Probably some kinky farmer.

Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

I think it's a marking thing, like so you know this sheep has had its shots or this sheep is from this flock or whatnot.

The killer was dubbed the Beast of Bont after the village of Pontrhydfendigaid...

Come on, now you guys are just making words up on the fly. :p

http://en.wikipedia....ntrhydfendigaid

Were they drunk when they named it?

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

*If you can't tell, it's you. ;)

This is WALES. The only reason we invaded and pacified the country was in a vain attempt to correct their spelling.
