Gorth
Start of old thread End of old thread Moving out of my old place (didn't like the location, too "squeezed in" between other houses). Moving is such a hassle. I should probably also find a place to move into some day. That time, that worry “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. theslug
I'm in a confusing labyrinth of choices; deliberating between dreams, reality, morality, what is most healthy and what will garner the most pleasure for my weiner. There are... feelings on the line, mostly just mine, all swirling around with no clarity or direction. There's who to choose, new people to pursue, who to drop, or just wait for even more options to present themselves? There are too many paths with no clear outcomes, investments that cannot be substantiated or broken down into a neat little quantitative graph. This is certainly not how I planned things. At least with lifting can I see the progression clearly, I can analyze the subtle deviations in detail. But with females (and people in general), you don't know nothing ever. It's truly agonizing. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
Hurlshort
I'm doing a lot of research on houses to rent right now. It's pretty expensive. It wouldn't be so bad, given that my wife and I have a decent salary, but the mortgage on our condo is crippling us a good deal. After renting it out, it still costs us an extra $1300 to cover all the costs. We also have to figure out what to do about day care. Right now we are paying $1200 a month for that, but if we move we will need to change services. Unfortunately that number probably won't change, at least until my daughter hits kindergarten, but that is a year and a half away. It will probably be tight until then. Unfortunately that number probably won't change, at least until my daughter hits kindergarten, but that is a year and a half away. It will probably be tight until then. Yikes! I remember 10 years ago bitching about my daughters (then) daycare costs of $600/month, $1200 is just insane. Have you considered using a liscensed private at-home mother for daycare? Its usually significantly less expensive. @theslug: Just follow your weiner. Gorgon
One of my left shoes and one of my right boots and the other left of my sneakers are gone. Leaving me with no matching footwear. I'm mildly amused and trying to figure out who would do this to me, and why. Only 3 people have a spare key to my place so the list isn't long. Hurlshort
Our condo is just too small, now that we have two kids it would be extremely hard to return to it. Unfortunately in the Bay Area, $1200 is the going rate for two kids at a home day care. The bigger daycares are even more pricey, basically $1k per kid. I just have to keep reminding myself that it is a short term cost, ugh. Once they hit kindergarten it will get a lot easier.

Guard Dog
I hear you about the real estate situation Hurlie. I've come to the conlusion thet there is no way I can accept the job I was offered in Maryland. I can't afford to buy a new place (at least not one I'd want) and not sell my house here in TN, and I can't afford to sell this place because the most generous estimates of what i can get are about $50k under what I owe. In short, I'm trapped... like a rat....squeak squeak. But it's ok though, I really did not want to lose this place, I'm just now getting everything just the way I like it. This spring I'm going to clear some of the woods behind the house and plant peach trees. I have not formally tuned down the job yet and I alsmost hate to do so because it will be the second time I've done that, i doubt there will be a third. But it's ok, I'm happy where I'm at for the first time in many years. You know Hurlshot, you live in the most expensive part of CA bar none. Have you ever thought about moving? Hurlshort
My wife is overly attached to the area. Plus, my current school is amazing, and I can't imagine leaving it. I think about it all the time, but we've just got too many roots here. It's actually fairly tough to get teaching jobs outside of the Bay Area as well, although going out of state would solve that problem.
Rosbjerg
Watched 2 lectures on transhumanism (body enhancements etc.) and a thought-provoking documentary on reincarnation, where several professors where discussing the possibility of memory transferring from over 2500 cases of children age 2-5 remembering former lives. Raithe
Tried to take an evening to have a total chilldown and not really think. Had picked up on dvd a copy of the old series Oddysey 5, so watched some episodes from that. Some entertaining insights from the commentaries by the main writer and peter weller. Orogun01
Probably because you are missing your legs nah, you're right this was just a sketch. Didn't have much time to work on it. Sad part it's that apparently this it's going to be my homework for the rest of the quarter (aside from the actual homework) So I better get used to running up to strange people and drawing them. Deadly_Nightshade
I was going through some old parts I had gotten from a friend before I tossed them and found a fully functional, and almost brand new, 1Gb 9800 GT and a very, very dusty 512Mb 9800 GTX+. Guess I'll be giving the hacked PhysX drivers a go after all (I thought about getting a cheap GeForce card to go with my ATI one awhile ago but decided that it wouldn't be worth it). Rosbjerg
So the parents and kids aren't to blame for this as well? I mean, I could see porn on the TV from around age 5, but I never even conceived the thought of actually sleeping with a girl until I was 12-14'ish.. How does a 7-8 year old actually get the idea of giving a schoolmate a blowjob? Sure they know what it is - but to actually do it.. damn.. Fortune favors the bald. I agree, it sounds like the teacher is just horrible at classroom management, rather than encouraging this behavior, which is what the media has kind of portrayed it as. It's still unacceptable. There are times when I get distracted in the classroom grading or helping a student out, and then I look up and some yahoo is doing something dumb, but this sounds pretty crazy. I don't think they should be tarring and feathering the teacher though, they haven't even finished the investigation.

I know that all this sounds far too shocking but children actually have sexual thoughts, they begin to discover the aspects of their own sexuality and are curious about the opposite sex. Of course, the behavior these two kids its' inappropriate but there should be care in how they admonish them. After all they weren't doing something wrong, it's just wrong that they were doing it ahead of time.
