RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS THREAD!, just a dumping ground

Rumors confirmed : a Devil May Cry reboot by Ninja Theory.

Aside from the monsters design and the fact that the protagonist uses two gun I don't really understand the connection to the franchise.

EDIT : And trailer!. Apparently the guy there is Dante. And I am Napoleon, OF COURSE!

... ;_; ... *sniff* .. ;_;

Nooo..

S'Okay Oner. I'm here. S'Okay.

Dude, all the cool kids play grim 'n' gritty these days.

Cool kids = overweight 13 years old that shout on TeamSpeak?

I didn't see Dante crouch over anyone's face after he killed them in that trailer.

"Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

That's probably a special combo finisher move.

Is this McGee's? I have a copy sitting on my desk I haven't installed.

This is a sequel to American Mcgee's Alice, yes.

The old game was pretty awesome, but the gameplay probably doesn't hold up anymore.

:p

How very Japanese.

The old one looked creepier.

and great first SEGA showed me the middle finger with announcing Valkyria Chronicles for PSP, now CAPCOM is raping my mind with this abomination.

edit: at least this is happening

1.13 killed off Ja2.

If it's as fun as No More Heroes 2 (jobs = 8 bit mini-games), day one.

I didn't see any 8-bit mini-games in that trailer.

Seems like another instance of Japanese developers trying to make what they think the western audience wants and ending up a whole bunch of nonsense. YMMV.

Pepper pots?

Sequels to old games are a good idea. Somebody should make a sequel to Heavy Metal FAKK2 as well.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

im intrigued by almost all those announced titles, but will remain fairly skeptical until release. I like the font used in that shadows of the damned trailer though.

Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.

If they did that, it would be a shooter set in the desert.

Just because it's not schoolgirls and guys with long purple hair doesn't mean it's aimed at the west.

It's more of a pepper mill.

It was an attempt at a pun, actually. But carry on.

You Americans and your comic-based jokes...

So how about that awesome CGI trailer?

Gamers watch out

the fight continues.

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

*If you can't tell, it's you. ;)

Heh, and Stardock are apparently doing a "Buy Moo2 and get a free copy of Moo" at the moment...

"Cuius testiculos habeas, habeas cardia et cerebellum."
