WorstUsernameEver Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 (edited) GameBanshee Pirates of the Caribbean : Armada of the Damned preview. Sounds like what Fable should have been in the first place (minus the Molyneux PR talk). Edited June 26, 2010 by WorstUsernameEver
mkreku Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 This sounds promising: http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/215667...ng-i-saw-at-e3/ I wonder if Obsidian has taken a glance at it? Their games would suit this motion capturing system exceptionally well. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

HoonDing Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Maybe there'll be another half-assed PC port. The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Purkake Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I'd be happy if it get made at all. It was never really a PC-oriented game.
mkreku Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 More videos from Arcania: It just shows a little combat and how seamless the world is when going from dungeon to overland map. But at least it is in English. http://tvgry.pl/ This one is on Polish. Not only that but the video quality sucks and there's no apparent way to link directly to the video. After clicking the link provided by me, you need to click the "Gramy w Arcania: Gothic 4" link on the right. I included it anyhow because of this: The developers have said that the game will be very customizable so it will suit both newcomers to the series and old Gothic fans alike, and in this options screen you can see some of that. You can turn off quest markers at least! All in all, it's really looking good. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

Wrath of Dagon Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Sounds like a pretty fun game from most reviews, Wolfenstein was also panned as generic but it was quite good. "Moral indignation is a standard strategy for endowing the idiot with dignity." Marshall McLuhan
Purkake Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I liked the last Wolfenstein, but this is more of a shoot monsters/collect audio diaries kind of a deal.
Syraxis Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Singularity is released, definition of mediocre updated. It's like Bioshock, minus the interesting environments.
Purkake Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 At least you'll know that they story will suck right from the beginning. Am I right?
Nepenthe Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Sounds like a pretty fun game from most reviews, Wolfenstein was also panned as generic but it was quite good. You must have played a different game from the reviewers and myself. In comparison to RtCW, I don't think there was a single non-graphical improvement in the game. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions

Wolfenstein had the best opening trailers I've ever seen in a game (great audio on 'em) and the gravity fx were kind of neat. As a game, it still blew. RtCW is one of the handful of games I basically always keep installed on any computers I own (along with BG2, Deus Ex and usually with Red Alert 2 and Dawn of War) You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Calax Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 http://kotaku.com/5577920/this-means-beard-war Apparently our devs are big into beard wars. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

WorstUsernameEver Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 How's it that he's credited for Fallout : New Vegas and Dungeon Siege III but NOT Alpha Protocol? An error or..? Or maybe they're just trying to keep his reputation clean after all the bad buzz the game has received? Only they know.
