mkreku
Only the Bethesda games that use Gamebyro tend to crash. Divinity 2, for example, runs just fine. Gothic 3 used Gamebryo too and that never crashed either! No wait.. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

Morgoth
It crashed when I closed the program out, but that happens so frequently that I ususally don't notice it. I hope you play the patched version, because the unpatched version always crashed when closing F3. Strange that this still happens, it was fixed with the first patch. Rain makes everything better. Starwars
A preview of a preview: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=234110 Apparently OEI has done some changes to the dialogue engine. Also: The mag reported that it was 'apparent that Obsidian are much more comfortable behind the keyboard than the team that made Fallout 3 and, before that, Oblivion. The scripting is wittier, the characters more distinct.' Sannom
Lol at the date they give at the end of the news I suppose they meant thursday February 11th? Apparently, the preview for the PS3 mag won't be the same as the preview for the PC mag, and should include other details! Can't wait!
entrerix
I just have to say how totally stoked i am about the dialogue changes a straight over/under check for dialogue skill checks = awesome no need to stupidly quicksave before every dialogue or to game the system by only having a 10% chance at something and just retrying over and over again till success the return of "low IQ" dialogues!!!! helloooooo peoples this is awesome! now if my explosive skills are balls i have the chance to say something really stupid about bombz! but the system is smartly designed because it shows you what the options are so you know you could come back later after improving said skill so that you could actually pass the check and have that awesome discussion about semtex that you know you want to have with the npc. this to me says a return of actually intelligent dialogues like the science talk with myron or the crop rotating discussions instead of the [idiot] so you fight the good fight bull****! PLUS HARDCORE MODE = GOODNESS! fallout nv: now with less need to mod the crap out of the game to make it playable! Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete. Starwars
While I think Zur returning is bad news, I hope to god that Bethesda doesn't force them to use the same voiceacting company as in Oblivion and Fallout 3. Please, please, please allow them to get the ones that handled Bloodlines, MotB, KOTOR2 (and Alpha Protocol I believe). If I ever hear that Argonian/Ghoul guy again... Enoch
I wonder if Bethesda's weak VO history has anything to do with their location. Fallout 3's credits list the following voice recording locations: "Bethesda Game Studios [Rockville MD], Absolute Pitch Studios [bethesda MD], The Audio Department [New York NY], Morris Creative Services [boston MA], North Hollywood Sound [North Hollywood CA], Levels [Hollywood CA], Juice [santa Monica CA]." I wouldn't be surprised if the non-MD locations were just to pick up their top talent (Neeson lives in NY; Perlman lives in LA), with minor roles done locally on the cheap. (Sidenote: the abovementioned Absolute Pitch Studios is located only a block away from one of my favorite restaurants. And only about 1.5 miles from my house.) Obsidian, of course, has the benefit of having the best concentration of voice-actors in the world right in their backyard in SoCal. Bethsoft isn't going to get close to that anywhere within a reasonable drive of Rockville, MD. Clearly, other non-LA studios (not least, Bioware) have hired top talent (read: LA-based talent) in the past, but it takes some investment to do so. entrerix
most of the voice work in mass effect 2 was in the range of decent - excellent as opposed to fallout 3's abysmal - almost bearable range... moira gets my vote for worst voice of a character since the female dark elf in oblivion.
