September 15, 200916 yr That was the first Borderlands trailer that didn't impress me. Seemed pretty generic shootery stuff. Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

September 28, 200916 yr I hope the single player aspect works as well as the multiplayer.. I like top play as more of a loner than a team member.. And then I'm guessing there is also single player on or offline. Hopefully the style of humor from the trailers carries over to the game, although it's hard to effectively add humor to games there have been a few to pull it off...

September 28, 200916 yr Author Go look at the gameplay videos and make up your own mind. People's definition of "good" varies pretty drastically here. I'm pretty excited for it, though. Then again I'm also excited for Just Cause 2.

The MP and the SP are the same, you play through the campaign like in D2, your buddies will be bots(I guess) unless some of your friends jump in and take control of them. That's how I understood it.

Yes, I really should have said will sp be little more than mp with bots. Rather than against, since the mp focus appears to be coop play. Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. October 15, 200916 yr Someone managed to get a copy of Borderlands early and is streaming on Justin.tv. The also have Mikey Neumann (from Gearbox) in the chatroom watching.
