Tombraider

Finally found a program, "Tombraider Advanced Installer" by Slobodan Ratkovic, which runs the original in all it's 3d accelerated glory :(

Just finished City of Vilcabamba and started on The Lost Valley

Is that it? :ermm:

Sometimes, it is the journey that matters, not the destination :)

Dear Silent Hill,

Why are you sending me into the Hospital's basement? I still firmly recall what happened when you sent me into the school's basement. I should think your recollection is as good as mine, but in the event that it is not allow me to remind you.

EVERYTHING WENT TO HELL

. So, I ask, why are you doing this again? Certainly you do not think a repeat of our last excursion is due. How about sending me to a bright sunny park? I do think I would enjoy that. Or just about any place other than another basement. Filled with monsters.

I hate you,

Tale

P.S. Oh, what's this I see on the map of the basement? A morgue?

P.P.S.

Go **** yourself.

Dear Tale,

I would enjoy accompanying you on a trip to this fabled bright and sunny park.

Cordially,

The Slug

P.S. - Bring ham.

There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

Dear Silent Hill,

Oh yeah, that's real mature. You know how I feel about basements, so you make it the top floor this time. Real ****ing funny. What's next, front doors? Save points? Whenever I raise my gun?

Die,

Tale

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a blast

Aren't you supposed to be working on Purgatorio in your spare time?!?

Felt short. But many games do when you play them nonstop.

Oh, I'm not saying it sucked, I'm just surprised TNO was screwed no matter what.

Having learned TNOs whole story I could not have imagined it ending any other way.

I started a marathon game of Sins of a Solar Empire with a friend. Huge map with over 100 planets in 5 solar systems and eight computer opponents set up in teams of 2. My partner and I started in separate star systems unfortunately. I'm currently under attack by the three other people in my system. In the first hour of the game I managed to colonize 9 planets/asteroids. We stopped for the evening at the 1:20:00 mark. Since about 0:40:00 I've been fending off attacks on all corners of my empire. I've managed to beat back 4 attacks and killed two enemy capital ships (the only two destroyed so far) in the process. I managed to get three of my own capital ships out with groups of ten escorting frigates to patrol my empire. One more fleet and I'll take on the first enemy empire.

I managed to sorta trap the one enemy empire in a corner. I stole one of his planets and fortified it before he could take it back. The only other way out of his corner goes through a couple jumps before he can reach a colonizable planet. He was the first one to attack me so he'll be the first to die.

Sounds awesome. As far as the game goes is it good? I've read that there is no single player so it's pretty much you vs computers or you vs some other poor chap and games are like hours long.

You heard right. The only singleplayer is a skirmish mode. A game on the smallest map type took me about 2:50:00 to complete although I probably could have shaved 30:00 to 40:00 minutes off that time. Before starting out huge map game, my friend and I played on a medium map and it took us nearly 6 hours to complete, with maybe the ability to shave 1:00:00 off that time if we really tried. It takes a fair bit of time to play.
