December 28, 200718 yr I got so sick of NWN2 the last time so I deleted all my modstuff, so now I have to do some new custom hair, armor etc. because the ones that come with the game doesnt please my exquisite esthetical senses. I was kinda strapped for choices as well, the only ones I could stand looking at for a whole game were the male gray dwarf and the asian looking female human. Don't get me started on the drow. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.

I lost all interest in the Mysteries of Westgate the day I learned that it will require online authentication every time you play. I have no problem with requiring online registration to enable play, but I am not going to stand for having to do that every time, so I am not buying that. Instead, I will wait for a proper second expansion pack... which I hope will come eventually.

January 25, 200818 yr I got my first epic feat today. My eldritch blasts make 50% damage now. I also like to thank whoever made the "voicepack: none" thingie. I have always found that the voicepacks you can choose from for your character are the epitome of bad voice acting or just way over the top. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.

My problem with the NWN premium modules is that apparently they are locked to the version of NWN you have installed when you first use them. I got NWN and its expansions on a single disc with the NWN2 Collector's Edition, but I can't use it to play my premium modules - instead, I'll have to re-install from my original 5 discs. Lucky I kept them, I guess. I wonder if this will also apply to Mysteries of Westgate? If it does, and people want NWN2: Gold, they'd better make sure they get it before Westgate is released. January 30, 200818 yr Anybody else notice that inventory icons occasionally disappear? One way to get it to happen: Dismiss a party member in the area where they go when not in the party (Veil Theatre for most), then re-recruit them immediately (without leaving the area in-between). Every non-equipped item in their inventory will be invisible and un-selectable. Their encumberance is unaffected, and hotbar links to the items still work, but you can't see them. The icons, however, come back when you go to a different zone. (Before I realized that they would re-appear, twice I went back to reload old saves (losing some progress) and made sure to empty Gann's backpack before dumping him to talk with Safiya back at the Veil.) Apart from spending too much time trying to figure out this issue, I'm enjoying the game a lot. The Epic-ness is pretty silly (I keep thinking that the game would be so much better if it started around level 8 or 10 rather than 18), but the characters and story have been holding my interest sufficiently. I've just gotten past the guards outside the lair of the Slumbering Coven. As you might guess from my leaving Safiya behind, I'm playing a Wiz/EK with a Rogue dip.
