SteveThaiBinh
I stayed up until something like 5am playing Civilization IV, fell asleep on the sofa and slept through the workmen letting themselves into my house and replacing my shower. Either they were very quiet hauling all the stuff through my front room, or I was more tired than I'd thought. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." Guard Dog
Just got invited to the Dolphins-Jets game. Yea! Lower level endzone seats. If you watch the game look for me, I'll be the drunk one in the Florida Panthers T-Shirt (No dolphins shirts I'm afraid). Today is the day they get that first win! Gorth
I am Gorth, all listen to the wisdom as explained in gorthology, the teachings that will lead mankind to a new and brighter future. We shall all build a new world, and it shall be Gorthopia, and happiness shall be enforced with an iron hand. Now, how to go trick some followers into building my new capital, Gorthopolis?... Took a walk down to the Circular Quay in Sydney with my camera, during my lunch break. Wanted to take some daylight pictures of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Turned out that the batteries had pulled a Monthy Python Parrot trick on me... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Walsingham
Thread pruned a bit. Lets leave the personal antagonism for other venues... Yeah, like YOUR FACE! I was hungover today. I was out running last night and some friends saw me. I was inveigled into a public house. Drinking ensued. EDIT: I just finished Buffy season 5. What a great finale! "It wasn't lies. mkreku
By the way, this happened a few days ago but it was so cool I have to brag about it anyhow. I went to a rock club on Saturday (and drank $9 beer..) with my cousin to celebrate him getting engaged to his girlfriend since 8 years. So we were just sitting there laughing at the tattooed, ugly, long-haired rockers and dye-blonde girls with huge plastic boobs when two normal (but still pretty) girls sat down at out table. It ended up with us having a great time just sitting there chatting and drinking. When the place closed at three in the morning the girls asked us if we wanted to come home to their place for an after-party.. and my cousin turned them down!! OK, so he's newly engaged, but still!! MY GIRL HAD A FREAKING TUBE TOP DRESS ON HER!! Anyhow, it was cool and probably for the best. Great night! Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish! alanschu
Aren't you a wee bit old for braces? Is there an age restriction on braces? While I don't entirely disagree (I'm 26), my best friend got them when he was like 23 or 24. Regardless of whether or not I'll get them, I still have crooked teeth haha. At least they are symmetrical though!

Tale
I've actually taken to setting up an spreadsheet listing the games I haven't finished yet. I went so far as to download Open Office just for doing that. You know you have too many games when you have to make a spreadsheet to organize them and items 7 - 45 are just the ones you haven't finished (and they're organized by series, so Silent Hill only gets one entry for all 5 games). Even worse is that's the short list of only unfinished games. Organized by title, platform, genre, and the priority which I should finish them. Need to update the list to include books, too. Oy. Tomorrow I'll probably throw my books on there. Got The Dark Tower series (I'm on Song of Susannah) on their as the highest priority item along with my NWN2 modules. I should put The Wheel of Time (with a note to restart from the beginning), the two Salvatore collections I recently received, and the ton of Star Wars books I have that have only been collecting dust. And quite a few more, including the programming and webdev books I have. I may start expanding this to include my entire library. That's actually a neat idea. Cataloging my game, movie, and book library into Spreadsheet form. I'm an exciting person and tons of fun at parties! "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater." Deadly_Nightshade
I've done that before, and it was strangely satisfying to have a complete list of all my games, DVDs, and books... Now, to get back on topic, my dance partner I recently saw the 8th best Ballroom Dance couple in the world preform live from about ten feet away - so, yeah, that was cool... Walsingham
Absolutely awful day yesterday. I had to get a taxi for 30 quid to get to my back specialist, then got told I was an hour late, and have to pay for half the session AND got no treatment. DAMNIT! I slouched away to see an ex, armed with champagne and good red wine. Great evening, with a good friend, but hungover today. Military style haircut today to make my sergeant happy. Xard
So, uh, I've been reading Bethesda's Fallout 3 forums for the lulz but I'm getting depressed. What's humanity's fate when people are this stupid? FYI: When people start to argue that Pong is turn-based, we're off to someone's twisted and insane macrocosmos. Also, Pong was first game ever and since first game ever was turn based FPV and real time combat is evolution from lesser turn based combat and it also should be noted that turn based combat means defensive or offensive while Oblivion's combat is both defensive and offensive at the same time and it has FPV which lets you see explosions. Edited December 4, 2007 by Xard How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)

Guard Dog
Today I was going to clean out the barn and change the oil in my truck. I ended up sitting on the back porch drinking iced tea and reading a book all day. And making sure the dogs stayed out of trouble. Tonight I'm going to grill pork chops for me and mild turkey sausages for the dogs and watch the Tampa Bay-Ottawa game on my new TV. I didn't get my book till yesterday and its due on the 8th and I still need another book to complete it. I also have 2 assignments which are due tomorrow. Crickets have also stormed my room. I've gotten two of them but miraculously one appeared not a moment ago and it's pissing me off becuase he just disappeared. Also against my better judgement I'm going to go eat with my friend even though it's almost 10:30 and I have school in the morning early. Can't wait until this semester is over. Just finish this week then exams, then 40 or so days off. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
Deraldin
I'm trying to finish my section of a ten page evaluation of my team's performance in a negotiation project. I get to discuss our strategy going in to the negotiations and how it all fell apart because we were expecting to be under attack by the other two sides, but instead they just took pot shots at each other so we became mediators instead. I need to get this written up and sent off, in the next few hours, to our editor so that she can toss it all together in a way that makes sense for our seminar tomorrow evening. While I'm doing that, I'm also attempting to help another group member get his section finished. He didn't get off work till 1am and now has to finish his portion of this assignment and a statistics assignment that is also due today.
