Blarghagh Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 As if Transformers fans aren't deluding themselves that anything good based on their beloved franchise will ever air again. We all figured that out a decade ago.

Tale Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Beast Wars and Beast Machines was good! Beast Machines not so much if you insist on your transformers respecting the rest of the franchise. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
theslug Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 X-men original saturday morning cartoon was the best show ever created in the history of media history. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.
Musopticon? Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 (edited) Man, I never watched any of these shows. It's like a trip down the memory lane that I never had! Well, not really, but I appreciate retrojunk.' As for the art style, I don't get the problem, sure it could look better, but I like the style they are going for, caricatures and saturated colours in the vein of Samurai Jack and Clone Wars. Enoch Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I could never get into the Transformers cartoon. It's a cool idea for a toy-- I had a couple of them, and they were fun to play with. But, even to my childish eyes, building a storyline around why these things existed seemed farcical. Isn't it enough that they were a cool toy? Slinkies and Legos didn't need elaborate animated mythologies to make them fun. He-Man, on the other hand...

Sand Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I guess they can't think of original conceepts. Musopticon? Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Please, by all means, keep it to spite'em. The mods'll ask you to take it down, once they think the poor suckers have had enough. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears.
