It has one really good scene in the first kiss.

Superman Returns! ...

When does Superman ever have a child in the comics?!

I saw this and boy did it suck. Superman 4 might be better than this @#%

:) Take that back! :aiee:

I'm not putting it in my favorite movie category but i found it very entertaining. What didn't you like about it, I'm curious?

My problem with Superman Returns is Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. I didn't really think she was very convincing in her role.

Except for during my favorite scene in the movie, the plane rescue.

I've watched Dodgeball twice in the last week on satellite. There's a few funny spots in there. Plus any time you get Rip Torn talking about drinking his own urine you can't really go wrong, can you?

No ones seen Rocky? Fine, I'll do it.

I saw it. I thought that the "mid-life people are still capable" theme was predictable, but it does present it well. Most of the time. Sometimes it's rambling, but most of the time it's very good.

I just watched Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

Nice; he does interesting things with characters.

Mononoke is better.

Yes, Mononoke is better. But Porco Rosso and Totoro are yet even better.

I finally saw Mononoke yesterday.

While Porco Rosso and Tonari No Totoro are awesome, Mononoke Hime is better. Because my word is law. :brows:

How can your word be law when my word is the divine utterance made manifest in law off from Platonic plane of concepts?

Goddamn you.

Japanese.

I don't think it really matters though. Not with Miyazaki at least, since the dubs are really professional. In contrast, most people have watched the highly praised Otomo's Akira film adaptation with English dubs. I tried that and thought they were horrendous. Miyazaki's movies are so popular in the West that they get great voice talent to work with in the subs. Everyone knows the movies are a huge cash cow and the effort put into dubs reflects that.

A Night at the Museum

Entertaining. Stiller does his usual shtick but it's nowhere near as funny as Zoolander and aside from fantasy becoming reality and Robin Williams it has nothing to do with Jumanji.

If anyone feels like seeing another Jumanji film, rent Zathura instead.

(some critiques are comparing it to Jumanji for some reason).

I found the english dub for Mononoke truly atrocious.

I think the Japanese DVD has English subtitles.
