Even Visc can run away from werewolfs when its TB combat.

Notice how I can belittle your beliefs without calling you names. It's a useful skill to have particularly where you aren't allowed to call people names. It's a mistake to get too drawn in/worked up. I mean it's not life or death, it's just two guys posting their thoughts on a message board. If it were personal or face to face all the usual restraints would be in place, and we would never have reached this place in the first place. Try to remember that.

Nah, they'd probably have a ton of AP or something and he'd accidentally click on the wrong spot to move to.

Deathclaws are lizards

I'm afraid they are lizards. :o

In Fallout 2, one of the scientists in vault 13 even tells you what they originated from. :)

Sorry, just saw a really freaked out movie, so my sarcasm sense isn't online. :o

I'm pretty sure Deathclaws will make a return in FO3, actually.

That's kind of a problem. Deathclaws are an iconic Fallout thingie, it's hard to imagine Fallout without them, but canon dictates that they were exclusive to SoCal (Tactics was derided for having the hairy Diablo-esque Midwestern deathclaws) It's going to piss some people off. Depending on when F3 is set, it's possible to explain a super mutie or two, as they migrated East after the master's death, and it's not entirely inconcievable, super mutants being the survival machines they are, that a few would make it to the far coast.

I'd much rather Bethesda come up with some other monster-creature for its East Coast setting, but that likely won't happen. Bethesda is going to get boned by the Fallout freaks either way: Either they're straying too far from canon or they're butchering it.

Well, to be fair, some people were pissed off that there was a talking Deathclaw in the first place (at various places in F2). Deathclaws furthermore were never known for their ability to breed like rabbits, so even given a few decades it would be strange for them to have spread to the east coast. It's not inconceivable but it will be strange if there are more than one or two.

Not that there's any reason for deathclaws to reappear, IMO. They weren't that central to the setting.

Were the aliens ever really explained? I was never really a big fan.

I thought it was another mutation or a scientific experiment.

I think it was suggested they were bio-weapons of some kind.

"so even given a few decades it would be strange for them to have spread to the east coast."

No, it wouldn't be. And, how do you know about their 'breeding habits'?

It's Wanamingos, by the way. :)

I watched a super mutant breeding ritual just the other day. They're already here.

Sounds sexy.

It came from the bowels of 2006.

FO combat is very good actually. it's not the best but there's only so much one could do to really improve it.
