I'm amazed this has remained open for so long.

 

Two things.

 

1. Lyranor's last quote pretty much tells you that you have to be an idiot to follow the Bible's version of the Lord word for word. What's that say about Mr. Knight? He spelled "idiot" as "ediot"...twice...we're not dealing with a particularly strong intellect here.

 

2. Can always count on Numbers to put the thread in perspective. :alien: (Yes, I know that by posting this I'm contributing to the theme of asshattery when religion gets involved.)
