Child of Flame Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 yeah there's pretty good surfing in NZ :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And snowboarding. California and NZ are about the only places I can think of offhand that offer beach and snow close enough to each other that it makes it practical to have both hobbies. This bit about England is a new revelation. Still though, I bet you can't surf at the beach, then drive an hour and go snowboarding. California is keeeerazy.
Petay Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Yup, you do actually have to wear wetsuits all year round in England . I dont think ive ever been surfing without a wetsuit on before as a matter of fact. Im deprived of that luxury. That sounds amazing that you can go from surfing to snowboarding in one day, man i gotta move to CA .

A violent beauty Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 I dont do much apart from game. I rarely get exercise, in fact i think it has been a couple years now. I like mega-heavy death metal music too, and like to mosh out to it in my room. Dark is good.

Blarghagh Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Hm. Let's see. I'm a big fan of music, and a terrible musician. Also, a terrible artist and a terrible writer. Which makes me a terrible cartoonist. I also love movies, and I'm a terrible actor and a terrible director(although in my defense, I've only had one project with a

Darth Drabek Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I just got a job writing for a newspaper, so all my hobbies will go by the wayside within a week. While in college I played bass in one band for two years, and played guitar and sang in another band. Now it will be back to the open-mic circuit, if I can find one in my new town. The free beer perk of being in a band let me become a discriminating beer drinker. I have visited quite a few wineries with my parents, so I also am an aspiring wine snob. I used to work out a lot. I played football and baseball in high school. In the future, I want to work somewhere with a company softball team. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Commissar Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I ride herd over a rather large number of young men who think they're invincible, have access to heavy weaponry, and seem to specifically attempt to get arrested every weekend simply to ensure I have something to do on Mondays. Gaming is a distant memory.
EnderAndrew Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I write quite a bit, and I have a variety of hobbies. I also have a few sports obsessions. I'm also quite a movie buff.

I hated my old scoutmaster for that... and he was a little on the controling side of things <{POST_SNAPBACK}> haha not at all I'm part of a not so usual group of scouts. We're located in a troublesome neighbourhood, so most of the children there are from poor families. As such, we're not so strict with uniforms and stuff. Acting like a drill instructor would serve these kids nothing. Rather, we focus on communication, and make sure everyone feels accepted in this group, so we can keep them off the streets.
