Been this way since Hitler rejected the WW I armistice treaty (you just got the wrong World War), the only diference is that we had two Germanies after WWII until the unification when the Berlin wall come down. The reasons Germany does not "help" the USA military occupation of Iraq is because they dont want to get into that situation with is their right.
