I would like to know if Lucas Art and Obsidian just wanted to make fun of us by talking about a patch comming soon with sterea music tracks and "hight def" movies. There was a post of a dev saying it was ready but the bureaucratic structure was making the release a slow process. With this announcement a guy who was remaking the music decided to stop his project as Obsidian would ship the original tracks, so duplicate ? Now that was 2 months ago. More or less, I've stopped to count the week since a while now. I know that Obsidian doesn't have a communtiy manager as it was one of the reason to close this board, but how much would it cost you to SAY something once a while ? Is it too much to drop a reply to custermers ? Yeah I understand that's surely more exciting to talk about a upcoming project that about one covered by dust. I will not stop my rant with an useless "I'll not buy NWN2!", I'm weak so I'll surely buy it but I'll not preorder it and I'll buy it "soon" after the second patch (which means in Obsidian terms "maybe tomorrow, maybe next year"). Aaaaah I know it's like pissing in the wind but I feel better now....

* Added High Resolution Movies * Added High Quality Music These two lines appear in the Update1_0b.txt file once you've updated your game. I dunno what they means with that, the movie look the same and the music still makes no use of my ears. Oh and I had a look to the updater log and I don't see any patching related to that. But it may because it is late and I'm tired,time to go to bed eh. If there is Hirez movies and stereo music I'm ammazed that they've been able to fit it in only 16Mb...

the answer is...no. I don't know why but I quite sure that it's something they'll never do even if it cost them nothing. It would take 1 hour. Time is money and 1 hour would cost 15$. A fortune.

Searching the web for 10sec would kill you ? But I'm nice today so the answer is : - Cool Edit Pro = Adobe Audition -> $ - Sound Forge is owned by Sony -> $ - LAME is free software (as in beer but mainly as in speech)

It is a real pleasure to hear these restored tracks, I can now use my 2 ears again while playing the game. Thank for the hard work you've done !

There is a timing problem that is blocking me on Nar Shadda : - Bao-Dur become my padawan - I go to the Ebon Hawk - I kill all the Red Eclipse thugs inside the Ebon Hawk - I get out of the ship - I enter into the ship again - for 1 sec I can see Atton talking about a com (Visquis invitation it seems) but I can't learn more because... - ...Bao-Dur wants to talk about Malachor-V and initiates the dialogue preventing Atton to complet his report Is there some way to finally get this invitation ? If not does someone have the number of the global attribute of it so I can edit it with KSE ? I was already forced to start from scrath because of the black screen bug, I hope that I'll not have to do it twice.

The only hope we have to see the other ending in K2 is that there is someone like David Gaider inside the ex-dev team of the game. Remember his Ascension mod for BGII:ToB ?

Adding the alternate ending would need LucasArt to pay Obsidian to do so, in the same way LA pays them for making a patch. And I don't think that LA is generous enought to pay for that , after all you've already bought the product so there is no need for them to do anything more. LA isn't the kind of compagny that makes free gift to its customers.
