Not sure how accurate this is, but a clerk in Gamespot last night told me that KOTOR II had a set release date of December 9th. I haven't seen or heard anything elsewhere to either confirm or disconfirm this. Devs, is this date accurate?

While its within the Winter release still (as is Feb) Id be very suprisied (and somwhat worried) if the game got brought forward 2 months.

Akari said the date that Obisdian hands their completed project over to LucasArts doesn't change. If the title gets released earlier, it's because LucasArts get's their part done earlier.

BTW, what parts are the arts of lucas doing?

I know that LucasArts does the score and voice-acting. They may be responsible for packaging, manual, etc as well.

 

Publishers also generally handle localizations as far as I can tell, so they'd be responsible for translations.

While I haven't heard anything personally, that sounds like it's probably true. The date floating around at one point was Dec 12, so the 9th would be just as likely, I imagine.

Does this mean that the first patch is released around february ?

If it comes out on the 9th/12th in the US, does that mean a possibility that is could come out in Europe before Christmas?
