Dark Wanderer Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 . Well, that's just an as good conclusion as any I'd say Despite the fact that many people who've played KOTOR has a negative view on it, I'm still very optimistic about the Februari release and can't wait to get my paws on the game :D
Chemix Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 maul lost because good must win, obi wan must live, maul must die, duku must become the aprentice. Hense why he stood there like an idiot, when clearly he didn't hesitate with qui gon nor gloat over his victory before. Atleast the whole standing like an idiot thing made sort of semi sense compared to the scene in episode 2 where anakin holds out his arm for 10 seconds for it to be cut off. As for most power dude, I think it's the chosen one, vader/anakin.
Ever Faith Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Good always win in the end. It just goes that way. Not becuase he just stood there, I mean they could've been in the heat of battle and Obi could've noticed a slip in his moves and slice. I think they wanted the movie shorter. Evolutionary Development
Archmonarch Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Its a seesaw, sometimes good wins sometimes evil wins. There are no absolutes. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Ever Faith Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 That's true but in the end of most movies and shows good wins. But a prime example of evil winning is Jeepers Creepers. Evolutionary Development
Dark Wanderer Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Good always win in the end. It just goes that way. Which is a pirty IMHO . But nothing lasts forever; technically evil prevailed when the Old Republic fell, but maybe only 25-30 years after that, the Empire was defeated and the Republic moved back in place... That's how I think it is, if seen in a more realistic way; Evil can win, but it's regin cannot last forever. If Ben and Yoda had not been waiting for Luke and Leia to grow up, they'd probably have taken on new apparentices and done what Darth Bane did; lie low while at the same time preserving the arts of the Jedi until the correct opportuny showed itself. The Rakata were, if we observe their history closely, at first much like the Sith and their empire lated for quite some time but in the end it fell apart... Despite the fact that many people who've played KOTOR has a negative view on it, I'm still very optimistic about the Februari release and can't wait to get my paws on the game :D
Archmonarch Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I think thats why I find games that give you the option of being evil so attractive. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Dark Wanderer Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I think thats why I find games that give you the option of being evil so attractive. Right! The option fo being evil is always welcome no matter what game I play . Despite the fact that many people who've played KOTOR has a negative view on it, I'm still very optimistic about the Februari release and can't wait to get my paws on the game :D
Yoda Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I like being good and evil at the same time (i.e) play an hour in rotation of good and evil. I'm definitally going to be a jedi weapons master  .
Darth Sun_Tzu Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 For me it will be Jedi Master first, then Sith Lord. Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! "I don't see a problem...then again, SW isn't my life, so what do I know...." - some who makes 27.8 post per day on a SW forum!
Archmonarch Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 I need more information to decide. But probably one of the Sith classes first. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
QalOrt Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 The Most Powerful is No.38 from Republic Commando! No I think Revan is the most powerful.
Yoda Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 The Most Powerful is No.38 from Republic Commando! No I think Revan is the most powerful. Psh master cheif beyotch.
Ever Faith Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 The Most Powerful is No.38 from Republic Commando! No I think Revan is the most powerful. Psh master cheif beyotch. I'm confused where on a Kotor 2 forum but alot of you keep bringing up Halo? Evolutionary Development
Yoda Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 So now I can't make jokes. I didn't know I was shackled to KotOR, he asked who was most powerfull.
Ever Faith Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Your not shackled to kotor, atleast I'm not I'm just curious on why people bring him up. And I thought some gun could beat some one who could trip you with a single thought. Evolutionary Development
Yoda Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 And I thought some gun could beat some one who could trip you with a single thought. Whats that, some gun could beat some one who trip me? What are you talking about.
Darque Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I play my bad guys smart. If I was running Darth Maul I would have not gloated and just killed Obi-wan. Stupid thugs might gloat, but smart villains do not gloat. They see a threat and take them out the most efficiant way. Agreed. Maul was a moron... and that's why he was cut in half. Gah, what a stupid way to die.
EnderAndrew Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 I hate Maul's death scene. It make no sense what-so-ever. This dedicated, vigiliant Sith suddenly decides that he doesn't need to pay attention or attempt to defend himself, and also decides not to attack Obi-Wan as he flips through the air. I think it should also be noted that Maul never did anything evil in the movie.
Judge Hades Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Well, it was the end of the movie so I guess he had to split.
Alexia Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Well, it was the end of the movie so I guess he had to split. lame, very lame. Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
Judge Hades Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 You know, there was probably more of Darth Maul filmed, but the scenes probably didn't make the final cut. (tee hee)
ShinIchiro Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 Well, it was the end of the movie so I guess he had to split. O god hades. I hate you. That will be running through my head all night.
Judge Hades Posted July 20, 2004 Posted July 20, 2004 When the actor of Darth Maul found out he wasn't going to be in the Episode Two he was half the man he use to be.
