Fardragon Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 (edited) Will the size of the PC avatar be affected by choice of class this time round (big Guardians, small Consulars)? Will there be new designs for the PC's street clothes since the starting classes are different? Personally I would like to be able to choose these things myself rather than have it dictated by class. Edited July 4, 2004 by Fardragon Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!
Nur Ab Sal Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I think the same. I always wanted to have face&cloth editor in KOTOR. HERMOCRATES: Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned. SOCRATES: This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.
Quasar Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Thirded. I'd like to edit my appearance a lot more than just picking a head. Oh, and we need more heads
Alexia Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I think there should be skirts and knee high boots :D But you should be able to create the height, weight and proportions of your character. Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
DesertHawk Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I hated my soldier/consular's clothes. They were so ugly. So unclean. Oh, how I wanted to steal Bastila's clothes and strut up and down Dantooine in them... You're all right, though. Our characters should be able to get fat, grow an inch or two, be a midget, change clothes. . .I always thought it was silly how Malak was a few feet taller than me. If I was Revan, I wouldn't go around with that giant of a Jedi as my Sith Apprentice. <_< Maybe we'll get something like a face editor like there is for The Sims. Though a system like Uru's would be better, I think. Fnord.
Sirus Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I'd rather they focus on gameplay than something trivial like apperance.
Alexia Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Apperance can add to the feal of the gameplay Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
Topaz Quasar Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 You mean like in Jedi Academy? (choose shirt & pants)
LostStraw Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 You mean like in Jedi Academy? (choose shirt & pants) I want my no-pants option. But really, this isn't The Sims2 and extra, vain things should only really be added if the artists/programmers have the time. Id rather see them working on their next project or helping smooth out KOTOR2 (story, bugs, etc...).
Sarkile Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 You should be able to choose your size outside of class though. Since it was implemented there isn't any reason we couldn't be given the option ourselves.
Quasar Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 I wonder how many horny 10-year-olds'll make a female wearing practically nothing?
icebox15 Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 How do they get fat if no one in KOTOR II ever eats? If anything they should all be anerexicly skinny.
EnderAndrew Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 And why is there no toilet on the Ebon Hawk? Or does T3 serve another purpose that we don't know about?
SilverSun Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Or does T3 serve another purpose that we don't know about? Ugh...
Ratamacue Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 How do they get fat if no one in KOTOR II ever eats? If anything they should all be anerexicly skinny. Hey man, they showed Zalbaar sitting down to eat in the cantina.
GunnardamWing Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Apperance can add to the feal of the gameplay with more appearance options, you can make it truly your character with more appearance options, you can make it truly your character
Alexia Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Apperance can add to the feal of the gameplay with more appearance options, you can make it truly your character with more appearance options, you can make it truly your character exactly thats why it would be better Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. EnderAndrew Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I think most people prefer having more options and control, but it's not huge for me. Ultima 7 let you pick from like 5 male avatars, and 5 female avatars. But it was still a great game.

Alexia Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 The Sims 3: Dark Lords of the Public Restroom. lol Le donne sono da venus, la scopata sa dove sono gli uomini da. For a different kind of Kotor chat
'JN Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 And why is there no toilet on the Ebon Hawk? Or does T3 serve another purpose that we don't know about? There are a lot of things about the Ebon Hawk that don't make sense. Take Jolee's quarters for example. Why is he the only one that gets his own quarters, and why do they look like a medical examination room?
nightcleaver Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 Err... because that IS a medical examination room Think about it; he supplies you with medkits... I'm fairly certain there aren't enough bunks on the hawk, though. Six, to be exact; 2 people have to sleep either in their chairs or on the floor.
