Meshugger Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 <useless info> Once, when i encountered the whole 'Galaxy droid' bug, i was able to go back to Dantooine and speak with Yuthura at the Academy, eventhough Malak had already destroyed it. </useless info> "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Darth Ravok Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 I voted yes cause she was one of the coolest characters in the game
Adria Teksuni Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 She was originally intended to be a party character, and Sleheyeron was intended to be on of the planets, but due to various time constraints, they had to cut it. I would love to see the character development for her that we missed out on in K1. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
TSAdmiral Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 She was originally planned to be in the party? Dang I didn't know. A definite shame she didn't make the cut. What we did see of her deems her as a strong character and a good one to develop long term. Unfortunately I have hunch that Obsidian wouldn't consider her. However, her presence in TSL would be PERFECT given her background and the "darker and more ominous" setting the devs are shooting for.
Adria Teksuni Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 From what I recall, her sidequest would have been confronting the Hutt that had enslaved her. But my recollection is so far beyond hazy it's like London fog. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.

I wish they had kept all the stuff about Yuthara in.

Topaz Quasar Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Easy: During Atton's quiz, have a question regarding the outcome of Revan's escapades on Korriban.......
Archmonarch Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Are they going to be that blatant about it? And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Adria Teksuni Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I think they'd kinda' have to be. Somewhat hard to be subtle in a few areas. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
starwarskid15_19 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 WHY WHY why did they cut yuthura and not juhani WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or t3!!!!!!!!!!!! the force is what gives a jedi his power. its an energy field created by all living things. it surrounds us and penetrates us. it binds the galaxy together
kefka Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Why does Yuthura Ban get all the attention? Is it because you can redeem her? I prefer Uthar Wynn. In fact, I liked him so much I took his side against that treacherous Twi'lek.
Topaz Quasar Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 WHY WHY why did they cut yuthura and not juhani WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or t3!!!!!!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed
Sabahattin Dere Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 look at it on the bright side, though. If she was originally designed as a party member, that means perhaps the devs. took her seriously enough to introduce as an NPC for the second game. Zwangvolle Plage! M
kefka Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 yea, but I bet you'd have to redeem Yuthura for her to join you (kotor1). And, imo, she is far more interesting as a dark-side character. Same with Juhani.
Sabahattin Dere Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Judging from what has been revealed so far, I'm expecting party formation to be far more flexible in TSL; why not have a beginning choice of 'Kotor1-LS Ending' allow Yuthura, and DS-ending allow someone else? Zwangvolle Plage! M
Adria Teksuni Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Actually, if you went DS, and sided with her, but defeated Uthar, she would join your party as a Darksider...I think. It's been a while since the discussion. Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.
Darth Sun_Tzu Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 R u sure? I was under the impression that u had to kill her if u were on the DS. Adria Teksuni Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 It was removed as she was no longer being considered as a party member. *attempts to dredge faulty memory* I think after you defeated Uthar, you would have fought her, and if you defeated her, she wouldn't be killed, but you'd have the option of her joining you (as you are the stronger) or killing her (a la Juhani). Never assume malice when stupidity is to blame.

EvilTyger Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I liked Uthar enough to respect his ideals, and let him die like a true Sith in combat with a superior foe (me).
