Mr. Muscles Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 okay qick thought, if there is a ending for going lightside, and one for going darkside, like in the first game there would be 4 endings right, cause if you choose first game to end with lightside ending you can be it as light and dark. but if ya choose for first game to end with darkside ending you can then also beat that as light or dark. did that make sense it was kinda hard to put it into words.
Child of Flame Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 I'm holding out for the eight endings of KotOR III.
Judge Hades Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 There was not much difference between the endings for the two genders. As far as I am concerned there are 2 endings in KotOR.
GhostofAnakin Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 If they take gender into account, then technically wouldn't there be 8 different possible ways you can play in KOTOR 2? LS male branches off to DS/LS male (2 paths) DS male branches off to DS/LS male (2 paths) LS female branches off to DS/LS female (2 paths) DS female branches off to DS/LS female (2 paths) Although I suppose the actual endings won't change for the different genders, so I guess there's still only 2 possible endings. I think the only thing that changes is the different ways you can play through the game. "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Judge Hades Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 The only difference between the genders is who you can romance and that is it.
Meshugger Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 If you want it really simplified, then there's only two endings: Either the Starforge was destroyed, or it wasn't. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Seth Tansill Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 If you want it really simplified, then there's only two endings: Either the Starforge was destroyed, or it wasn't. Oh no, you ruined kotor for me
EnderAndrew Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 What's the Star Forge? Was it loot I was supposed to get?
Rensei Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Id just like to hear the ending credits music... "I did it all for the Wookies" sung by Sarevok/Jolee.
Victus Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Better orchestrated music for the end battle. Best end fight music in RPG's so far, imo. || || \/ One Winged Angel - FFVII
Ivan the Terrible Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Better orchestrated music for the end battle. Best end fight music in RPG's so far, imo. || || \/ One Winged Angel - FFVII I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? You like monkeys, you like ponies Maybe you don't like monsters so much Maybe I used too many monkeys Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?
Shdy314 Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Better orchestrated music for the end battle. Best end fight music in RPG's so far, imo. || || \/ One Winged Angel - FFVII Sephiroth. From Final Fantasy 7. Surely you've at least HEARD of him. I have to agree. That was some damn good dramatic music. Its become kind of famous.

To bad all the characters, and a story itself, were pathetically bad in this game.

Oh yeah. Nothing.
EnderAndrew Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Well, the characters and story were popular enough to spawn a sequel of sorts in the upcoming Final Fantasy movie.

Nartwak Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 My favorite game music is from Chrono Trigger. But, I often find myself humming the Zelda theme...

FFVII was the only Final Fantasy game that I've actually liked in a while. VIII, IX, X, and X-2 were very bad.
Indalecio Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 My favorite game music is from Chrono Trigger. But, I often find myself humming the Zelda theme... Have you heard of Time & Space Takes Mitsuda's(Chrono Trigger, Chrono Chross) work and remixes them. There's a sample at the link I provided. Mitsuda does some good work, but Sakuraba(Star Ocean) edges him out slightly for me. Zelda's music is also good as is Dragon Warrior's
Seth Tansill Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Crystal Chronicles for GC is cool But anyway, that's off topic

Eventhough i haven't tried the earlier ones, i'm currently playing FFX on the PS2 and enjoying it, but i guess that's just me <_< //EDIT: Sure it has it flaws, like Tidus being a whiny annoying jock and VO isn't the best in the world, but characters like Auron balances it all out IMO.
