Then there's the beast in ice which I just...face tank. Face tanking any lair bosses on Torment IV isn't really an option as sorcerer, even with full barrier. The barb that I played initially could tank a lot more, having both fortify and barrier through boss powers, but I found the damage wanting and being in melee range of many of the bosses wasn't my idea of a fun time on Torment IV. The earthquakes also made boss abilities really hard to see. Duriel just has eleventy billion and a half hitpoints, but the fight is a pretty easy snoozefest. The Andariel fight on the other hand is complete chaos, and that final phase doesn't look like it was ever designed to last as long as it did in this season - if you can't burst her down quickly enough or deal with the supressor field totems (or whatever they are) fast enough you WILL die. I'd rather fight Lilith. Lilith can randomly create patterns that can't be avoided too, but at least if you play through the rest of the encounter well enough that doesn't instantly kill you at the very end of the fight. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
BruceVC Posted Monday at 09:05 AM Posted Monday at 09:05 AM Im 180 hours into WoRT and Im busy with all the final quests and choices before I complete the last quest at Threshold As I have mentioned in previous posts this game is one of my favourite party based RPG of all time Its impossible to list everything I love about this game but in summary deep and complex main narrative with a myriad of different choices around what Mystic Path to take and how that influences dialogue options engaging and worthwhile companion side-quests, the best in any RPG I have ever played. I ended up finally Romancing Arueshalae and accepting Camellias murderous nature ....no ones perfect very complex character and class customization combat is the best part of the game with all different strategies I love the Crusader management and mini-battles. Its a nice break from the normal RPG progression lots to explore and many side-quests the length of the game, I appreciate how long it is What an RPG, I wish we had a commitment for Pathfinder 3 from Owlcat 4 "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. LadyCrimson Posted Monday at 09:07 PM Posted Monday at 09:07 PM (edited) Re: Dune Awakening endgame: in the past, I don't mind if there is certain endgame content or even gear I can't do/get solo. If I'm unwilling to do non-solo content, then that's the choice I've made (re: doing without certain gear). But for me that relates to PvE/MP. PvP is an absolute no. So this game is out for me, unless they change it so no one must deal with PvP in any form. Be one or the other, or have enough options for avoiding whichever one doesn't want. Mamoulian War Posted Monday at 09:31 PM Posted Monday at 09:31 PM More Fatal Fury. I am getting asskicked a lot, but somehow I am still having enough fun to play it. I can have a pretty nice fight against C-ranked opponents, but I always end up failing for some bait, so in the end I lose the match, but it is not so one-sided anymore. The matchmaking is still pretty fine, and I am getting matches every 30-45 seconds on average, which is not bad. But I am now lately getting more higher ranked opponents, so my win rate dropped to 24% Sent from my Stone Tablet, using Chisel-a-Talk 2000BC. Malcador Posted Tuesday at 03:29 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:29 AM Playing Door Kickers 2, the missions are too big sometimes, I don't feel like taking on 81 terrorists with my 6 guys or something though as I'm forced to do in the campaigns. More progression system stuff as well, but we all love those. Still somewhat fun And has funny tips, given I'm playing as US Special Forces. Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

majestic Posted Tuesday at 04:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:48 PM You guys should really go through the romance. Spoiler There's nothing better in the game than taking a very hot and bothered Camellia in the gore and viscera of her servants after you help her slaughter them all. Top tier, that romance, really. 1 No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

Your time zones are perfectly aligned and you live in the same state? I'd rather they just let PvE people be able to turn PvP off entirely, like WoW did, or NMS does etc. Thus they could run around and people couldn't target them re: PvP but everyone could still mingle or observe that massive guild fight over yonder if they feel like it. Or perhaps ... where one has to be in a Guild or something of that nature, to be able to participate in PvP, and only other guilds are targetable. Thus people with no affiliation of any kind would be left alone. The dev's original objective however seems to be for trying/hoping more/most people would band together in guild/groups as the endgame. Which is fine. I'm simply not interested. EDIT: to be fair, if one goes in knowing all of this, 50-100hrs for the PvE focused beginning is a decent thing, even if one stops/considers that as "finished the game.", just like with any actual SP game.
