Hawke64 Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Sekiro The boss did not die on this kick. Mixed feelings about killing running monkeys in robes. As expected. Looks safe. I do dislike this mini-boss, but a Prayer Bead is a Prayer Bead. Took some time. And this is where I am not going. 2 1
Hawke64 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 (edited) Sekiro Late-game spoilers Spoiler Though, probably should have Deathblow'ed first and talked later. Should not have talked. And I took it to heart and modded the game some time later (from the battle against Owl at the Hirata estate). The undead bull was hostile. End-game and ending spoilers Spoiler Gifts are usually voluntary. Juzou, the fourth encounter. A true shinobi execution. Skin mods. Raiden did not feel right, but looked nice. Arisen - Subtitle I Forgot Magical invisible gloves. Got the "Charisma" card after repeatedly choosing "Attack". I guess, being aggressive is charismatic. A whole 1 option. Lunacid Sounds easy enough. Just need to comb several floors of the dungeons. The save point is on the right. The fire was slightly damaging the horse heads. Edited September 22 by Hawke64 typos and formatting. 2
Hawke64 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Arisen I do not think that she has a belt. I suppose, there is 1 outdoors background, which works for any time of day and any crowd density. The NPC does have a no-armour sprite, but neither is a robe. If I understand correctly, the game was written in French, then translated into English. At that point, I had seen Baeli once and was not aware that he had any family. "Your village was called Tosh'Seruc. It stood at the frontier between Pointe Benie and Tosh'Seruc". Lunacid Defeated the Abyssal Demon. Discovered that there it is possible to behead a zombie. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider Felt weird to see both NPCs I killed in my playthroughs. Mass Effect it is not. Accidentally jumped into the ring. 1 1 1
Gorth Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Playing around a bit with character ideas in Guild Wars 2... the new expansion gave the players "player housing". Never mind that you can decorate it, but it's permanent daylight, so nice when taking character screenshots (rather than having to hunt locations depending on the time of the ingame day) A claymore wielding "highlander". Insert Queen's Princes of the Universe sound track A dark elf assassin, wielding two daggers and two pointy ears... A hammer wielding berserker. No skull is too thick. I'll try to take a few shots from the new expansion maps during the week. They really are gorgeous. Soundtrack is nice too 2 1 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Wait, what? Did they add an Elf race while I wasn't looking? (which has been an expansion or two, mind...)

She's a human. They added a "helmet" that gives your character elf ears (using the characters skin tone for colour). Can be used by all 5 races (looks a bit funny on the Charr) My "dark elf" is just a bit of creative use of the colour palettes and dyes as well as the pointy ear head gear. 2 “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. LadyCrimson Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Spot the zombie. Non-zombie animals don't like zombies. You'll see them duking it out here and there. When in stealth/crouched, you get to see where zombies spawn in to prep for dropping down on your head. Stealth foils that. Hah. Funny clipping. They spawned that way (they are "alive"/would stand up if I'm detected - but looks like the bricks fell on their heads. 2 1 1 “Things are as they are. Hawke64 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 (edited) Moonscars The screenshots cover the full game. It is gorgeous. I will add spoiler tags. I guess, it reminded me of Soma. Spoiler The lore NPC. As it is the only member of the Moon Clergy I came across, I cannot tell whether it is her personal opinion or of the Churn of the Moon. Well, he asked for it. Spoiler The reasonable response in this situation would be to attack first and ask questions later. What could possibly go wrong. Spoiler Sympathy is the right word. Spoiler I don't think it will help them. A major spoiler. Spoiler Side quests' endings. Spoiler Final battle and the ending. Spoiler It is never "no choice". Just the other option seemed worse to the one making it. Edited September 28 by Hawke64 2

HoonDing Posted September 30 Author Posted September 30 I retired Bruce and made a female character for NG+3 unfortunately I ended up in an "alternative" universe 1 The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
melkathi Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Should have called this character Bruce as well. The real Bruce would have gotten a giggle out of that. Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).
HoonDing Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 with a certain power you can traipse around pressure cooker planets with no spacesuit but apparently still not upgraded enough for 100% protection which is annoying 1 The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Hawke64 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Lunacid So close and so far. Spoiler Found a mimic. Spoiler I was trying to shake off the giant skeleton. The thing clipped through the walls. A very suspicious wall. The rats won. Dustborn (demo) The combat is not good and the controls are not fully rebindable (presets for keyboard layouts available). The rest is fine. 2 1
Hawke64 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 1000xResist The dialogue "options" can be funny. The guilt-trip does not really work with linear experiences - no choice, no responsibility. Some scenes looked really good. In case it was unclear what the game was about. There is a plot twist in the middle, so these screenshots are somewhat spoilers. Spoiler The spoken lines are very polite. After choosing the "Wait" option several times. It is what it looks like. Considering that the Shells (the low-status clones) were docile and the Sisters (the high level clones) were the MC's friends, what "pressure" she could be talking about? This is probably one point where the in-game events do not make sense without the OOC context. And the only way involves Deus Ex Machina. The only one timed action sequence. The timer is generous and I got lost on the first "island". Ending, so obviously spoilers. Spoiler Well, trying to play everyone also means pissing everyone off. 1
melkathi Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Yeah, first screen when starting a new campaign is not overwhelming at all. 1 1 1 Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).
Hawke64 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Tails of Iron I cannot tell whether the story is meant to be taken at the face value (a young monarch saving his land from very evil invaders) or not. The first death. The bard was barding. End-/post-game. Spoiler Heavy spoilers. Spoiler 2 1
Sven_ Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) Never thought that would ever be the case way back in 1999, when I was spending on GPUs, CPUs, sound cards and Gaming's Next Visual Blockbusters like there'd be no tomorrow... or 2024. But all I actually need in 2024 are apparently pixels (Drova - Forsaken Kin). Earlier this year, there was SKALD too, after all. Edited October 23 by Sven_ 1
