I still haven't played AP, but wth at The Lonely Islands being licensed. It was a gimick flavor of the month and they decided to enshrine it? UNKLE is great though.

Yeah, most likely due to soundtrack licensing concerns. But what if MS had bought the IP from Sega... a guy can dream.

But publishing rights are only that... the right to publish. Doesn't mean they can use the license to create something new.

Yeah, the wording/ definitions are used a bit too loosely to really tell anything. The simplistic implication of a publisher losing their rights to publish is that they've lost everything because a publisher minus publishing rights --> nothing, presumably. But without further clarification it's likely that what has reverted are actually the distribution rights only, with Sega holding the rest of the stuff they had as publisher- IP/ (c), trademark, etc. Without those a sequel would be impossible, and further distribution might well be too at least without Sega's agreement.

    If you have Mortal Kombat X or XL, you can get Gold Scorpion (which could be obtained only as a Kollector’s Edition item) for free. You can get as well other postlanch XL skins for both games (Krimson Ermac, Bleu Steel Sub-Zero and Kosplay pack for Jacqui and Cassie) for free.

    i just saw video from that EA hearing, those people put even my main lizardman Zuckerberg to shame. xD

    The level of scumbaggery at that EA/Epic lootbox hearing was off the charts. Props to the folks running that hearing because they were clearly seeing right through the corporate doublespeak, they even laughed at some of the ridiculous bull**** that was coming out of the execs' mouths.

    It had been unclear whether these games would cost full-price on Stadia, given you're simply streaming them as opposed to buying a disc or downloading the game onto a hard-drive. But in a roundtable interview with UK games press this morning, attended by Eurogamer, Stadia chief Phil Harrison indicated Stadia games will cost the same as they do on other platforms such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - that is, they won't be cheaper.
