That's awesome.  I've been wanting an Exalted game for 20 years or so.  I swear I recall there being one in production a long time ago, but it was an action game, not an RPG and it got cancelled early on.

So... I noticed that everyone's saying Rage 2 will be released in Q2-Q4 of 2019 but that doesn't make sense. Not only is pre-order for the game up on the official site and official box art confirmed but pre-order bonuses have been confirmed and I already saw video ads on youtube for it.

 

My guess is a few months and we'll have Rage 2! I still can't get over how cool it looks :D

I have seen pre-orders on Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4 as well... And knowing SE records, I'll be surprised, if it will come before 2030 on anything lower than PS6

I wonder what edition they would go for if that were the case. The new Demon game would be very meta, but a game based on the old Demon could actually be interesting. I didn't pay much attention when reading through the new vampire game, but I don't remember as big of a rewrite in that as I did in Demon.

I think you're talking about stuff like Wal-Mart, Gamestop and Amazon pre-orders. The big places who even occasionally list games that don't exist - of course Amazon list that it doesn't even know when Spiderman PS4 and Detroit are coming out so it doesn't take pre-orders for them lol

 

But I'm talking about the actual developer website featuring pre-order vendors with confirmed pre-order bonuses and tv/youtube ads. We'll see though, I may be wrong, maybe it's a year round hype. My sneaking suspicion is that the game is near it's polishing stages, it will have a game play demo, be playable on the show floor and reveal a release date for November-ish. It just doesn't make sense for them to put money into this heavy marketing if they didn't already know the date was soon and sometime this year.

 

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something at E3 like "Rage 2 will be available tomorrow".

Depends, when is the fiscal end of year at Bethesda. If it would be my company, Q2 2019 would be jan-mar 2019, which could be pretty realistical date to build up the hype.

Well, at least it seems a lot closer to the old Sierra classics than the 2 games Activision put out some 15 or so years ago (1 was okay the other was horrific). The old Larry formula was simple: Larry meets attractive woman. Larry finds out what she desires. Larry attempts to get what she desires. Hilarious antics ensue. Makes me think they're waiting for Cain and Boyarsky to be available but that's probably just a mix of me reading into it and wishful thinking

True. They released Skyrim on 2011.11.11 right after announcing it at e3. Beths would have probably announced Rage 2 at e3 which is only a few weeks away.

Eh, not sure what the comment section's problem is for the most part, I had thought they would like authors being negative towards games. And the LSL series hasn't really been good of late, post Lowe, so is perfectly reasonable to see this as continued decline even if they can play on people's urge to stick it to "teh SJWs" or whatever.
