  1. So, Since the release of patch 1.03 the game has been crashing on me whenever I try to enter or leave an area. It doesn't happen on every area, but enough of them that the game is unplayable. Has anyone else been getting this? Patch 1.02 was working fine.
  2. After collecting the bones of the dead priests, if I try and exit the Temple Ruins either before or after finishing the quest, the game crashes. I have loaded the game a few times and tried different things but every time I try to exit the ruins it crashes the game. I have tried to upload save files etc but the file upload system is failing every time. If you can provide an email address for me to send them, I can email them. Thanks
  3. Hi there, my problem is: I can't enter the black hammer smithery any longer. The game tries to load the content for the smithery and then just freezes. I can move the mouse, but nothing happens. When I try to click, the message appears "The exe isn't working anymore". I solved the quest " The Smith's Shipment" and still have his shipment which I got from the black meadow marauders in my inventory. As far as I noticed, the crash appears only since then.   6. So I've been happily (and sneakily) exploring Raedric's Hold. Was slowly making my way in the Hold's interior when I went up the Siege Platform exit. Due to my ever-loving danger sense, I saved... about thrice. So when I saw it's safe, looted the place, and returned back inside... the game crashed. Right now I'm stuck and can't re-enter the castle... which makes me a sad regicide If there is any information I need to give, feel free to ask. I'm just hoping i'm not permanently stuck
  7. Description: Crash of Pillars of Eternity at start-up via Steam. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: All the time. Running as Administrator makes no difference except the user question. Closed steam in task manager details en restarted and still the same problem. Restarted the PC and still have te same problem. Used te UNCL Fonts removing but the command prompt doesn't seem to do anything / there is no UNCL Font to delete.   8. No change from previous version, the game will randomly crash. After upgrading to 1.03 through Steam I started up the game and it crashed again within minutes.   9. Hi, I am currently at begining of the game, at the Hound Dog to be more precise. I am trying to recruit a lv 2 companion in my party but the game crashes EACH time after the character creation. The screen goes black then I have the following error message: Has anyone encountered this issue yet? Is there any workaround because It is very annoying.   10. My game always crashes while exiting the very first dungeon. I have tried the diverse helps but nothing works, I have 64 bit system, 8 GB RAM and can run most other new games without problems. Game starts and makes it past the logos; I get the initial voice over bit with the guy and the wagons but it crashes immediately after hitting the "Done" button and I've never made it all the way to character creation. Couldn't find a post similar problem so here I am...   12. Description: After getting to the bottom of the Endless Paths and then trying to return to the top the game crashes on any entrance to the Endless paths level 1.   13. I was able to play the game a little bit, then had to leave the computer for a couple of hours. When I came back, the game had crashed to desktop. A message popped up, saying it would be nice to send a particular folder to devs (could not find folder, did not provide address to send folder). Tried to load my save- crash. Try to start new game- gets through character creation, then crashes. The same message pops up every time. Guys, I really liked the little bit I played. Please help!
  14. (Not sure if this is the right forum page but...) Hi, I'm loving the game even if my computer goes blue screen of death or even just freezes up 1 out of 3 times i play. The issue seems to occur mostly in the character select screen but has it also happen in game at various points. This of course can be due to my computer specs but as fare as i can tell it lives up to your requirements. Is it a known issue or am i just doomed? I would also like to know if it looks like my hardware is up to par? Or if there a conflict with the game? System Specs: Summary Operating System

Description: Game crashes/stops responding after the loading screen that comes after the transitional cutscene-recap between acts at the conclusion of the Hermit of the hadret house main questline/riots. Happens every time so I can't continue the main questline. The game crashed directly after fighting the bandits in Valewood, and exited with a message about creating a dump folder, I've added dxdiag and the autosave when entering the woods (nearest one I had).   19. Attempting to run the game on my MacPro, and so far I haven't been able to get it to launch. Using Steam, I click play, and the POE icon appears, bounces once, and then disappears.   20. Description: Game crash when I try to enter zone called 'Margan's Fork'. Doesn't matter if i change zone and then enter 'Margan's Fork' (enter from different zone than previous one) - it still crashes. It seems to me that game crashes only when 2 conditions are met: 1.active quest 'Bounty: Sly Cyrdel' 2.guy named "Gramrfel the wayfarer" in my prison in my Stronghold Knowledge founded in post "Workarounds for several known issues 3-27-15" doesn't help either. But i founded workaround this one. Read at end of this post. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: 1. Pick quest 'Bounty: Sly Cyrdel'.
  21. Description: My character is in a cave (The one with the bear in the first forest). The game crashes at the end of loading. The loading screen stays, but the sound changes to the forest music, and the cursor changes to the character movement cursor. The game then crashes completely. I am then prompted by my operating system user session password screen, as if I logged out. When logging back in, an error message is displayed saying that there is a problem with graphics.   22. Hi, Started playing Pillars of Eternity this week-end, and I'm very impressed so far, or I would be if I could play without crashing. I indeed regularly encounter a full "crash to black screen" at any random moments of the game. So far it happened to me before even starting the game during the character creation period, and several times during the first 3 or 4 zones of the game. It can happen during combat, during simple movement/exploration, etc. When the crash happens, the game starts by freezing for a second or two, then it goes fully black for a few seconds, and only then I go to
  23. I have a bug that keeps me from moving further in the game. I am playing a solo game on Hard and right now I am in Raedric's Hold where I didn't go for a disguise and therefore cleared out the entire floor where the Prists are. Problem is I wanted to exit to the outside (being it on the roof or to the road), but after the load screen, the image stays black and the game stops to respond. I tried loading the auto save and go for the disguise, where after I was able to exit fine enough. I can't play further than the Hold so this bug is really game breaking.   24. Hi, my game keeps crashing when I try to leave the Black Hammer Smithery. It gets into the loading screen, stays there for a few seconds and then throws me onto the desktop.   25. Hi, I just downloaded the game on Steam, and I cannot play it as it crashes every time I finish creating a character. I have already tried 3 times, with the same result each time - the game crashes once I click "done". I would appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thanks!
