  1. well, i don't really know, i personally think the way Palpatine took out the Jedi was a real cowardly way of doing it. If he was so powerful, he could take them out himself.....i know i would, they were all in remote locations. Personally Palpatine is a coward, he had to send Anakin into the Jedi Academy place and he had his clone troopers kill the other remote Jedi.....so, Sith Master? no, Sith coward is more like it.
  2. with bloom...i assume you mean the glow around light sources. (Lightsabers, lights, blaster shots) It works fine on Kotor I, but not tried Kotor II, since i refuse to install unfinished games on my computer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah that. please try kotor2 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I ain't even got the game installed right now, so why don't you try it.
  3. So it works in Kotor II as well? they both should work properly, they are technically the same engine.

  5. Well, if Lucasarts and Obsidian did there sodding job right, none of us would be wanting to do this......rushing a game out should be illegal and if it gets done, the companies involved gets find 1,000,000 or more
  6. Well, the Bloom thingy around light sources seems to work fine on Kotor I, not sure about Kotor II, but since they are virtually the same Engine, it should work too.
  7. and the fact that Kotor II was NOT designed to run on laptops might have something to do with it, but thats just me.
  8. Well, even if i didn't watch rotj, i would know Palpatine is evil since both Darth Sidious and Chancellor Palpatine had the same lower face. But Kreia, i saw it coming, if there is a Kotor III, i hope they don't have anyone like her in it, because she ruined the game for me... It would be more better if they did KOTNR.
  9. I know exactly what you mean, i managed to get to the Unknown World in Kotor I, but i could kill her, i just cried.....she is my perfect match, if she was like 3-4yrs older.
  10. Kotor I was far better, but it was more well done and not rushed as Kotor II was.
  11. Yes, some storage would be nice. And a more impressive galaxy map. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 25+ planets.
  12. I personally thought Kotor II was an ok game, but Lucasarts could have waited, but they got greedy and wanted to make more money during the holidays. NEXT TIME, THINK WITH YOUR BRAINS NOT YOUR WALLET!!!!
  13. I totally agree here, they gotta get realistic here when it gets to turning to the darkside, but it would be better if you had the choice to turn or to stay on the lightside otherwise they should just make a movie out of it. also, more planets is a must as well.
  14. Well, i say bring back the Ebon Hawk, but a new ship would be better, but a bigger ship would be more cooler, you know like a Republic Warship or a Sith Warship, depending on your alliegence. The Sith Warship would have better weaponry, but weaker shields, while the Republic Warship would have better shields, but weaker weaponry. Your PC starts in a different location, depending what allegence you picked, but you can still sway to the other side as you play the game. You would be able to travel from planet to planet, upgrading your warship as you go through the game, there would be like 25+ planets each with their own side quests and each one with different major factions and you pick a side. (LS or DS) People say it would take too long for this to be done and so what if it does, i know this won't be done because look how long the Kotor II patch is taking. lol All i ask is that you NEVER have a Kreia type character in your group, if you do, make it possible to kill them.....PLEASE!!!
  15. Kotor I & II work fine on my computer with the latest ATI Drivers, the only glitches i have are in the game itself.
  16. well, companies don't care about us, all they want is the cash and then they are off....well Lucasarts had better grow out of it because they are starting to look more and more like Microsoft. Eventually, they are probably gonna make us activate games everytime we install it and then we will have toi phone them up if we change a single piece of hardware....if they any companies do that for games, i am totally going give up on games and trust me, that will take them quite a profit down fall. Since they *violate* the laws by protecting their games so roughly, i HAVE to buy several copies from the store, while one is the one i play, the others are backups. I never understand why CD Writers and CD Writing software is legally sold and it is frowned upon. really dumb. GET OVER IT AND GET RID OF THE PROTECTIONS!!
  17. its weird, by law you are allowed to have 1 single copy for backup purposes and they do this, its kinda taking away our rights for a backup. I have had to buy 5 copies of this game because i can't make a backup and the original gets ****ed very quickly, i think Obsidian or Lucasarts got REALLY cheap when it came to burning them on CDs.
  18. You never know whatever they are doing besides the movies and music....they might be completing the game like they should have done from the beginning.
  19. it works fine for me, besides the slowdowns that everyone gets, i don't get a problem with this game at all....i guess i am lucky.
  20. I don't think it was a ending at all, Lucasarts probably got bored of funding it and told them to just finish it like that. But you would think, since thye made so much cash with that Episode III movie, you would think they would spend some cash on finishing Kotor II like they should have done from the very beginning instead of either rushing it to make a quick buck during Xmas holidays or stopping it from competing with Republic Commando, which majorly sucked big time since it is a complete once and shelf it type of game. But Companies now-a-days are getting money first customer support very later.
  21. Hell yeh, there should be finishing moves, like head chopping or something like that.
  22. Well, i use a Guardian/Weapon Master Template with the stats: STR: 16 DEX: 10 CON: 10 INT: 18 WIS: 8 CHA: 8 Since the Guardian/Weapon Master Build is a Saber Combat based combo, there is no need for high WIS or CHA With INT at 18, you can max out the class skills of the Guardian and Weapon Master and get an additional skill. (i pick Repair for breaking down stuff) You don't need security since mining the locks are just as effective. In Kotor II, Single, Dual and Double Bladed Light Sabers aren't over-powered like in Kotor I, so, i use a Single Saber with Master Dueling for the Attack and Defense bonuses. Before you say you will have terrible saving throws against Force Powers, the AI hardly uses them anyway, perhaps one or two of them will and with he bonuses for Light Side or Darkside, you shouldn't have a problem with killing enemies before they do too much damage to you. The only Force powers i use with this build are the buffs that give more defences, Energy Resistance, healing, that sort of thing. It would be more fun if they did a more Space Based RPG where you could do whatever you wanted....something kinda like Freelancer, where you can fly around in space, shooting things, but also being able to board ships and steal from them and stuff...that would be cool....but i highly doubt it will happen.
  23. it will come out when its out. I couldn't play Kotor I until 1.03 come out....so don't complain. lol
  24. Republic Commando is a play once and its over type of game, but i didn't like the fact that if you didn't have any EMP Grenades or Anti Armour weaponry and you get jumped by 3+ Super Battle Droids, you are pretty much slaughtered. (ie. Getting the Launch codes from the Core Ship springs to mind) I don't see the point when your Advisor says to use this one commando to slice the terminal because he is supremely qualified, when it takes the exact same amount of time when you do it yourself. They could have put in the special thing where if you used your Squad mates to do the slicing and planting bomb jobs, it would be completed faster....like 2x faster then you could do it...then i would see the point in having a squad with you, that only gets in the way when you throw grenades and basicly shoot your weapons. What is the difference in difficulty? Is it just the damage you take or is it your squad as well, because i have noticed that the squad lasts longer on medium then they do on easy. :/
