Well, yes there is, its called a content patch and i think everyone will agree there, but i doubt it will happen and doing a content patch is the only way LA and OE to redeem themselves. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think that is true. Look at the file sizes for these downloads. I think they redeemed themselves, and you can understand why it took so long. 1. Where are we going to make them available? 2. How do we get it to the public without rereleasing the game? 3. Who is going to bite the money on the bandwidth? All understandable. When Morgan said they were large files, he was not kidding. If they released Patch 1.0b with these files, we would not have gotten any type of a fix. I am satisfied! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, i ain't satisfied, since once you see the movies once, you skip it...i know i do, so this high quality movies doesn't really improve anything for me and the music isn't all that anyway, so it always stays off. I am only downloading it so i can get Kotor II completed, but only a content patch can do that. (ie. Official content patch or Gizka team content patch) which ever comes first.

wow and i thought this patch wasn't coming out ever....well, all i can say is, its about time.

well, if i went by playing game, pretending the universe the game is in is real, then there would be proper endings...but there is only one ending and both LS and DS use it.......so i don't see more then a single playthrough.....well, until Gizka Team are finished.

Its a pretty good card, even though in some areas, my 9800Pro card is faster, it just seems that the Nvidia is more compatible with the games. But i have noticed that with the disable thing on, some parts slow down else where....not as bad as Dantooine with the disable thing off, but its still something that shouldn't happen at all.

Its because I am currently using my Mom's 6800GT since my 9800Pro randomly crashes my games, while on her machine, it works fine. :/ But the 6800GT works fine, but i still get the Dantooine slowdown....but it isn't as bad as it was when ATI didn't fix it.

Good idea he had there, but as you said, a romance in this game is a BIG must! I also thing there should be a random quest generator...that would increase the replayability value. (and no i don't mean missions like Freelancer. lol) Another good feature would be the ability to steal your ship you use, but the better the ship, the more NPCs you will need to kill to get it. If you are a Jedi however, you can rent or buy your own starship or get one from the Jedi Order, the ship could be big enough that you have your own crew, which just do their own thing, but on occasion there could be a quest you could do for them, but the only NPC on your ship that talks to you about the main plot is your Command Staff. (ie. First Officer, Security Officer etc.) What do you think?

Didn't see Obi-Wan taking any DS points for doing it to Anakin, so I guess that settles that... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, Anakin was armed at the time. Its not like Obi-Wan went up to Anakin and just cut off his legs for the kicks of it. I personally would have made sure he was dead before i left. (ie. stabbed him or something)

no one answered me about the slowdown, do Nvidia Cards get it?

well, i could never get it completed the one time i played the game, when team gizka gets their mod thingy done, i will play it again, but not until then. Been too busy with Kotor I.

funny, very funny, but you can get in trouble with trying to infect peoples' machines with that virus....tisk, tisk, tisk.

indeed....the biggest problem with cut content is that it should STAY on the cutting room floor....if you want to give people a chance to see some of the ideas that stayed on the cutting room floor, then make a Powerpoint slideshow that people can download....yeah, make it "semi-official" and take away from this "hey, look what I found! those meanies cut content from the game! how dare they!" almost every game has cut content...some just realize how important it is to get rid of the evidence. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And of course, we all know about the hot cof...err I mean water Rockstar got into with the cut content they left on the disk. " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never read about Kotor I cut content, so they hid it well, but i fail to see why they can't accually complete a game before releasing it, well, this situation makes me wish i was head of a game development company, i would surely make sure the game is finished before release, but thats just what i think.

You took the word right out of my mouth. Even though the Darkside on both Kotor I & II are just you being a boring bully and thats it....no Dark Jedi would do that.

well, the movies patch isn't a concern for me, since once you see it once, you just skip it. lol

Well, i have only played Kotor II on the Lightside, it doesn't seem worth playing again, the thought of bullying people for extra rewards is rather not what a dark Jedi does....if you know what i mean.

But the difference between Kotor I and II is that Kotor I, you knew why Revan and Malak were attacking the Republic, but in Kotor II, most of it was never explained, basicly, Kotor I & II didn't have much replayability, but Kotor I was accually finished with nothing cut from the game.....well, as far as i know anyway, but Kotor II probably had a MASSIVE amount of stuff cut just so LA could release it for an extra profit margin, well, i ain't gonna buy any more LA games without seeing a review or something like that before i waste my money on a game that i would consider still in its beta stage. (bugs, quest glitches and severe slowdowns) I just hope they get their heads out of their ***** and do a better job if they do a Kotor III.

Well, its not that there wasn't enough time it was LA that rushed it out before it was ready, so i think LA should get in trouble or something for rushing out a unfinished product.

well, your list is very good and well thought out, but i do prefer a good solo playthrough but there are times, when i like a group with me for ranged support, but the sadness about it is that you don't get to choose if you are solo or not at certain points of the game. Kriea annoyed me alot, i think she was the Kotor II version of your party members nagging at you for being a bad boy or girl. lol I wish they did do a better job, but they obviously won't even release that Movie and Music patch, even though that isn't important to me, the accual game is more important, since everyone will probably skip the movies anyway. lol I haven't played Kotor II since i first finished it and tried a second playthrough, i couldn't finish it, it was just virtually the same game as before and that Wookiee was so annoying me. In Kotor I, you had two endings, (Lightside and Darkside) and in Kotor II you had basicly one ending, which was mostly used for both LS and DS, so for the first time, a RPG didn't have any replayability what so ever. (basicly it is a complete it and shelf it type of game) But as alot of people are saying, it is too late for LA to do a thing for this game, it is entirely up to the mod teams for unoffical patches, I would help but i don't have any of those skills. I don't know about you guys, but i think if you can't or won't support it, you shouldn't have released it at all, but they released it anyway and now, we are ignored, it shows what LA thinks is important.....profit. I only play Kotor I now, since that is a finished game, Kotor II is a unfinished beta in my opinion.

was the Dantooine Slowdown ATI specific? or was it Nvidia as well?

well, i ain't really concerned since its just a one complete and it gets shelved, but Lucasarts might get off as butts and get the patch out, but i doubt it.

well, i think it has become Vampire: Bloodlines, except LA isn't saying its our machines problem for the performance. lol I have gotten bored of the game, if you can call it a game, but i personally think if a company makes a product, they have responsibility to finish it, if they don't finish it, they should get fined or something like that, but thats my opinion.

Well, they don't give a toss about support, they have our money and thats all they care about. At least other developers and producers accually finish their products before they release it, unlike Kotor II.

The most disappointed part, besides all the others, is the random loot. Yoiu might go through the whole game and not see a single robe or lightsaber
