New Fallout 3 screens
I'd like to see an indie remake of Wasteland, perhaps by Basilisk games. It's sort of weird btw, there's a ton of indie fantasy crpgs in the net(well, comparatively a ton), but next to none Falloutish independent projects. You'd think there'd be more but there's apparetly not enough post-apoc minded crafty people. I'd kill for a post-apoc 2d game in the vein of Avernum.

KOTOR 3 Release Speculation
I think that was supposed to be an original IP, not a license game.

Peter Jackson to produce two Hobbit movies
I don't know I sure got a "but I don't wanna be king" vibe from him, while in the book he knew what he wanted and went and took it. Could just be me however. How is not wanting to be king "whiny?" Did he ever say "I DON'T WANT TO, DAD!" Even Bruce Campbell didn't want to save people from legions of the undead, but that doesn't make him a whiner. The restructuring of Strider as a reluctant hero didn't feel out of place to me, it fit the purposes of movie adaptation. I had been sort of disappointed if the characters would have been exactly the same as in the book. Actually, it felt that Jackson had actually breathed more life to the characters the Tolkien. His strong point never was character creation. For instance, Legolas was almost a blank sheet compared to the movie version.

My girlfriend colored my hair, dark brown, I sat and tried to not look like a malnourished choirboy with a horrible stubble.

Taro Iwashiro - Truth of the Edge, Saiga Magoichi's Theme Man, such a great soundtrack. Melodramatic like hell, but so grand.

Movies you have seen lately
X-Men 2 No, seriously. It's a great adaptation of an overly convoluted and overmarketed comic. I also suggest watching the Hellboy animations, the team was working really closely with Mignola and they have next to nothing to do with the movie.

The first option. It's his fourth(?) account on these boards. No Gromnir Il-Khan deal here, unfortunately.

KOTOR 3 Release Speculation
What makes you think that they make less profit now? Their two most successful titles both came out after the last movie. What about the "secret project" is so laughable? Bioware is developing something for them, so it's not like they have to use a full crew for that. They have to make sure that everything goes in line with Star Wars continuity, are responsible for sound any maybe a few other things, but that's hardly something you need to have a big team for. LucasArts wouldn't be responsible for designing, so why would it matter whether they have any great designers? If the cooperation with Bioware doesn't have anything to do with KOTOR, than I'll doubt that we will see another KOTOR-game anytime soon. If it does, I really hope that it's not an MMO. What can I say? It's all speculation. It's true though that now that LucasArts has ran out of movies(you have to milk before it's curdle) to profit, they have to try other assets. I understand that it's not worthwhile to argue with fans, but the thought of a secret project itself is funny. It's like there's a big hush hush over a possible sequel to a best-selling game. I mean, isn't that an oxymoron itself? Shouldn't they be marketing the **** out of this secret project if it really is what the fans speculate? It's an immense cash co, why keep a lid on it? Is it because they don't want people to miss out the hype over Force Unleashed? Is the marketing department of Lucas really stupid? Or is it just that there's no secret project at all?

Icewind Dale II problem
I don't think there can be anyone who didn't love playing druids in IWD 2. They are a must in any party, since it's the first and last time they're actually been worthwile in an IE game. I think it was the scouring of spellbooks to give them extra oomph that really made it. It made you ignore the lack of raise dead spells and somewhat useless shape changes. Druids could really prod the buttock. In fact, I think I'm gonna do a solo run soon. Rogue/Druid, muhhah!

That would be utterly awesome. Think how Hobbit would feel with a Pan's Labyrinth vibe!

And I'm going to laugh now, because in your feeling of importance you failed to add anything to the thread. Unless you follow up with an explanation, that is.

New Fallout 3 screens
It's good that I was never a fan. I think it's great that they are using existing assets to base their game on.

New Fallout 3 screens
Yeah, it's sort of lame to expect FO 3 to be anything like the previous ones. Now, if they just got it to look good. Edit: gameplay video looks new to me.

New Fallout 3 screens
Oblivion concept art wasn't too far from the actual art direction. Bethesda's FO 3 concept arts look like a bunch of left-over Arcanum concepts, but they portray a wasteland that I would fancy seeing to come into fruition. Here's hoping they deliver. As for the cities itself, I've seen like two street corridors and a couple of buildings, not a lot to go by, so I'm not gonna grasp at straws here.

KOTOR 3 Release Speculation
I doubt it is even in production, not to mention planning stages. The whole "secret project" thing is laughable even as a speculation. It's not like LucasArts is a strong enough subsidiary of LucasFilm to be able to fund that many teams, especially since apparently they're making less and less profit now that the prequels are milked through. As for Kotor MMO, I've played MMOs and I assure that it isn't nearly as thrilling as they often get described. They can be though, with a great team of designers, but it's not something I see Lucas having right now.
