It is a testament to the fun I've had with the game that I bared with fps issues trhough the first chapter.

The game was so slow on my computer that I had to keep my viewpoint on the ground through the first chapter. Then I realised that dropping the amount of shadows objects and creatures can emit significantly boosts performance. And I gave up on trying to always use 1184x resolution with everything. Now it runs just fine on my Athlon 2100+ with a gig of RAM and Geforce 6 600. Just fine.

I read a couple of hundred pages of Perdido Street Station and tried my best to read the linguistics books, but, thanks to my earlier devotion to them, I can almost recite the buggers by now, I ended up playing a lot of Prince of Persia: Two Thrones and feasting on fresh pineapple bits. Was a good day all in all, though this public computer is trying it's best to undermine that. I can't even convert images to sizes for uploading, since this buggeral doesn't allow me to use the right mouse button. Perplexed, yeah.

Far Cry does look great. Best nature I've seen and the inside levels aren't half bad either. Especially the old tanker was impressive. I have to mention Wind Waker for it's grandiouse use of lighting and saturated colors. All of the boss fights especially, they were superbly executed(excecuted?) graphically.

Yeah, after killing around 200 of their wretched through various sharp and combustible ways, I don't expect to be treated that well. Regardless, 19 is ridiculously high Diplomacy. Could my mere 12 points of Charisma affect?

I tried it around three times, I always do if the initial one doesn't succeed. But it is always to no avail. I've won the throw around 4 times only throughout the chapters. Eagle's Splendor doesn't help much either. Edit: typos
