  1. No no, lots of levels just open up more if you play on the harder difficulties. Your objectives on Normal don't take you to all places in the levels and on some, you can't even enter them until Expert(like the third mission, Down in the Bonehoard ). Just replay the game on Expert to get everything out of it.
  2. Unreal was a singleplayer game, though the multiplayer was very good as well. It even had an expansion, Return to Na'Pali, iirc.
  3. I own that game, I do not need any others.
  4. Fanmissions... *drool* I took a break from them after Christmas and now I have around 18 new ones to play around with. Some of them look fairly decent:
  5. I recommend playing on Hard, Normal is for reviewers wihout time. And each difficulty gives new areas and quests, instead of harder enemies. Take care though, Expert is really that - expert. I still can't get through all Dark Project levels on Expert. I can almost ghost Thief 2, but DP is something altogether different.
  6. Man, I wish I could still find Myth 3, I never played it, but heard nothing but praise. There even was an extra official campaign for it, iirc. Unless I'm confusing it with TA:Iron Kingdoms' Chimera.
  7. With the athmosphere Two Thrones has, Inon Zur has raised to a fave status in my book.
  8. The Most Hated Man in Denmark. Poor sod, can't remember a thing.
  9. original in Gorth's sig.
  10. That latter one looks cool. Although the original works better as a gag.
  11. My dad pesters me with the looming upgrade to Vista. I've hated it since Longhorn. I do not need suped up graphical OS, I can do that with java decently enough already.
  12. I've always liked being a "zen paladin". Is that a cliche?
  13. Exact same reaction. Awesome squared.
  14. Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, definetly.
  15. That was some Korean-made fan video, the guy just talked over it.
  16. Don't bother with fan patches. My original Thief: Dark Project works fine with the original patch. And updated textures, which you can find from that same thread, iirc. Just check the thread if the games won't start. Often you don't even need any fanmade files, just twidling with user.ini. or dark.ini. Only if you wish to play fan missions, which there are a lot (talking 700+ here), you'll need special fanmade stuff. PM me if you need any further help. Getting into fanmission is totally worth the effort.
  17. Which is why satellite is so popular here. Ahem. If tops are the rule, my summer started in April. During that 3-day heat phase, if you remember.
  18. Exams...over! Summer...start!
  19. I have the HELP! movie. I agree. The Beatles - Help! Too bad about the song though.
  20. I remember when there was talk about Bioshock on the dead ISA boards. I'm pretty sure that Ayn Rand is going to get a lot of dirt on her proverbial pack. Failed utopias and all.
  21. Starcraft 2 Black Mesa:Source Overlord Lair TLJ Chronicles Halo 3 Mercenaries 2 That Jerusalem parkour assassin game
  22. You should, definetly. The athmosphere and narrative, and especially gameplay, of both games has withstood the test of time admirably. Get ready for sprawling, massive levels and weird, steampunk-hued dark fantasy and practically a robbing simulator. Sorry for the ad campaign speech, but they really are that good.
  23. I see your ME and raise you Okami. Hell, I raise you Homeworld 2, just by art direction.
