  1. I don't miss it much, and yes it was an exploit in Kotor 1 (one I admit using ). The maps just aren't that large in this game (much to my disappointment- as I love huge outdoor areas as in Morrowind).
  2. no, but I do admit they added challenge to an otherwise unchallenging game.
  3. here's mine. It's a picture taken from an airplane.
  4. I don't remember the germans having a death star in ww2.
  5. I know it's kind of difficult because of the voice acting. but I would like to see the ability to create user modules like NWN. Obviously there could be no voice acting (unless the users were able to do it themselves as in the first Eternum module in NWN), but subtitles would be okay.
  6. now we need a poll for the worst gaming experience. And we would have to include Apple Mac's in that poll.
  7. yes those are the only 2 groups.
  8. damn good game. I just wish it was a little bit longer. It seems shorter than K1. Though with the additional content, maybe it would be closer. The longest part is the dialouge, but that's cool. Most of it was good.
  9. naw, I still think I'm as cool as I was when I'm 18. Though I should note I was never cool at 18. I try to keep up with current music, but for the life of me I can't figure out why the kids like reality shows.
  10. ack! for the love of satan, how could anyone compare KOTOR 2 to Episode 1. It's a damn good game. to even associate this film with Jar Jar. *shudders* I can understand if you don't like a game as much as KoTOR1, a lot of people don't.
  11. *cough* PC games *cough* yeah I know, x-box kotor 2 was released in 2004, so I assume it won for that. There wasn't **** that came out for the PC last year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For PC: City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, Sacred. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> mmorpg's don't count yes I know I'm being silly. I'm just not a fan of them. I did buy Everquest 2. I didn't see what the big deal was. Why were people so addicted to everquest 1? I need a story. and I prefer an ending (even one as bad as kotor 2- JK it wasn't that bad).

  13. shhh, we don't want them reading this. I expect the extra content for free. I would pay for an expansion pack, but it better have a lot more than some extra dialogue, and a droid "level".
  14. there weren't any other rpg's released last year
  15. 31 though I have only been playing PC games since 1995 (my first PC). Before that I was in the military (no computer), and before that I had a commodore 64. yeah I know I'm providing too much information. But it gives a look into what type of gamer I am.
  16. the answer is no. There are references to him/her, but he/she is not in the game.
  17. Such as ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Neverwinter nights, Civilization 3, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (an old game, but I still play it) edit: though I will admit, the console market has gotten much better lately. With games such as Morrowind, and of course KOTOR 1 and 2. But it just doesn't make much sense for me to own both. when I'm going to have a computer anyways (for the internet). Though perhaps I could go without upgrading my computer and just buy an X-box. This would forgo me spending a couple hundred dollars every couple of years for Video cards, not to mention other upgrades. And I would do this if the X-box had all the games the PC did.
  18. PC, but I'm biased as I have never owned a console since the sega genasis days I prefer more "adult" games with more complex gameplay.
  19. yeah what he said. You don't need to start another game!!! If you did Dxun/Onderon as your last planet, and have already found the "doctor" and talked with Kavar the first time. Then leave the planet. Go somewhere and "wait" (assuming you have no other quests to do) This is probably real time. So leave the game on and watch a movie or something. come back, leave the ship, then re-enter the ebon hawk. T3 should have a message for you.
  20. I believe you need a certain amount of influence with him before even discussing the deal with the twilecks on Nar Shadaa. So don't talk to him about the incident on Nar Shadaa until you get a certain amount of positive influences with him. That's why I don't do Nar Shadaa as my first planet.
  21. Disciple can be done in one conversation as well (though I have never done it- I was dark side at the time)
  22. repair and it's a good skill to have for breaking down items anyways.
  23. I thought I already responded to this thread, oh well. I think I voted wrong. I'm spoiled by games such as Morrowind. What can I say. But I still enjoy games such as Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR 1 and 2. Those graphics are sufficient for an RPG. But even though I still enjoy playing Baldur's Gate 2 occasionally, I do not think those would be acceptable graphics for a modern RPG. My ideal would be the graphics and environment interaction of morrowind, and the mod capability of NWN, the combat of NWN, and the dialogue and story of KOTOR 1 and 2.
