  1. Yes, ^^^ that's what I meant. If you gain too much influence with Visas Handmaiden will clam up.
  2. He is in my games. This is just based on my observations of course, but Atton (armed with two Mandalorian Rippers, and later, Mandalorian Disintigrators) was killing things faster than Bao and my Exile could even get to them with melee weapons. Of course I usually play LS Consulars so everything is either A) frozen in Stasis or B) stunned with Stun/Disable/Destroy Droid, depending on what it is. That means Atton was landing Sneak Attacks everytime he hit something. Of course a really good gunman, or rather gunwoman, is missing from this poll: Mira. As a scout she gets tons of feats for free that cater specifically for gun slingers.
  3. You wouldn't have happened to talk to Visas have you?
  4. I like all three of them, personality wise. However, if we're talking overall damage output definately Atton. Especially after certain events transpire and/or when combined with a consular in you're team. Sneak Attacks all around! :D
  5. K1: Shayla Varn, LS Scoundrel/Consular K2: Isan Ilar, LS Consular/Jedi Master &/or Alari Kalar, LS Sentinel/Watchman
  6. It does, but in K1. With HK-47, Bastila, and Jolee. Usually in the Dune Sea, but I've had it happen fighting the Mandalorians in the Shadowlands on Kashyyyk.
  7. I like Di. He's no Bao, but he's a decent guy. And he's not Handmaiden (whiny, childish), which is a MAJOR bonus in my books.
  8. I thought Awareness was modified by Wisdom?
  9. Warning though, you have to have a fairly good Awareness score and you have to have only Bao in your group when you go back to Saedhe, or else your other companions will "take" the influence. There are also three more places to influence Bao. On Nar Shaddaa ask him to check your work on the speeder after you've repaired it, and then praise his work. On Dxun, help the stranded Mandalorian and tell Bao you did it because the guy "deserved a better fate". And on Onderon give an open Starport Visa to the Republic spy.
  10. With this game? Probably a bug.
  11. Revan: single violet saber (I chose violet to be different from all the other Jedi on board the Ebon Hawk). Exile: Depends on which one I'm playing. If I play Alari Kalar then she gets a orange double-blade. Isan gets a single silver blade.
  12. Atton: Anybody here catch that? All I understood was 'very.' Bao-Dur: I think he wanted us to give up the General to his poorly-trained collection of bounty hunters. Atton: Ah. well that would explain it. Which one do you want? Bao-Dur: I'll take the stupid one who decided to threaten us rather than shoot us when he had the chance. ******** Bao-Dur: Hey, General. Are you all right? Exile: What are you talking about? Bao-Dur: You look like you've been standing to close to one of my shield generators. Exile: Are you sure you haven't been chewing on power cables? Bao-Dur: Whoa, claws out today, aren't they? ******** Atton: I knew it! That stupid T3 unit stole our ship! It's probably joyriding through the system right now, laughing at us... laughing at me. ******** Atton: iWell, if it isn't the one who stole the Ebon Hawk. Not so smug now, are you, you little thief? Kriea: Don't be a fool - Atris stole the ship and the droid. It is unlikely the droid stole the vessel. Atton: Says you. ******** Atton: Why is it everywhere we go I end up in a cell?
  13. I trained them all. Handmaiden: I wanted to see all the cutscenes with Atris, and I wanted her to be able to kick her sisters butts later (they are SO arrogant and rude, and just jerks in general). She also seemed eager to learn so... Mira, took me a while to figure out how to do it, but I've never regretted it since. I liked her and wanted to crack her shell, opening her to the Force (which she was using already) seemed the way to do it. Atton, I didn't have the heart to turn him down, even though I had my doubts. And actually Atton is the reason I don't see the Exile running off to find Revan at least not without taking him with her. To keep an eye on him. Bao-Dur, I trained because it seemed the best way to get him to deal with his guilt by giving him the means to help others. Disciple, well he was a Jedi once before, why not again?
  14. And now you know how all us that play Revan as female and were then told that Revan was male, and that we should just "deal with it", feel. Not a nice feeling is it? Funny I set Revan to male once with no problem (although it annoyed me that it assumed he romanced Bastila). You have to choose the line: "How long have you been in that cage? Revan was a man, not a woman." And it will set Revan to male.
  15. How about I complain about either of them being made "canon" at all? Why couldn't LucasArts be like Wizards of the Coast who have not made Baldur's Gate and NWN, etc. part of the official canon? It would have been better because there are so many veriables. I mean you can choice to be whatever you want and none of should be deemed "wrong" because it's not canon.
  16. The difference between male and female in regards to Sion: Male Player on Korriban Her apprentice is here. Find him. *** [Angry, advancing on the player] Did you come here for answers? There are non. The call of Korriban is strong, but it is the call of the dead. It is fitting you came here. I have studied you and found nothing but weakness. [disgusted] Yet still she clutches at you as if you are all that gives her life. [insert player dialog about Kreia here] I have studied you. I know that paths you walked in exile. I know your teacher. I know the fires that rage upon the Dxun moon while the Republic died around you. You know war. You know battle and I know of Malachor. [disgusted, cant believe it] You saw the heart of war, what Malachor wrought, yet you turned away from it. You are a wretched thing, a thing of weakness and fear. You are her apprentice in name only. I am the Master, and that is why you will die. [After the battle, in which Exile and Co. flee] [Furious, cant understand it, but makes him jealous of male player] She protects him, shields him. Find him. Hunt him wherever he travels. He will not escape me again. I will bring his corpse to her, cast it at her feet. I will be as if killing her children. I will kill all she protect, all she shields, until her hands are drenched in blood. Female player Korriban She is here. Find her. *** [Quiet, advancing on the player] Did you come here for answers? There are none. The call of Korriban is strong, but it is the call of the dead. I have studied you, immersed myself in you. I know the paths you walked in exile. I know your teacher. I know the fires that raged upon the Dxun moon while the Republic died around you. You know war. You know battle. And I know of Malachor. [understanding] You know what it means to be broken. The one who travels with you will destroy you, as she did me. I can end it before it begins. [same questions as male player after this, but after the battle you get this:] [Quiet] Do not harm her. I command it. She... has earned this. She and I will meet again. Male player- Malachor So you have come to die, like the Jedi before you. This planet is a graveyard for your kind. She thinks you should be spared, but only so you might suffer. You will break. And when you do, you will die. Why she would bother with one such as you is something I will never understand. [Dialog options eventually lead to-] I am ready for you, Exile. I have waited years to see the last of the Jedi fall before me. Only one may serve my Master. [Convo after the first fight are the same] [Convo after the second fight] [Guarded] You are strong... perhaps she was correct about you. But you cannot kill me. She knows this. [Convo after the third fight] [Vicious, brutal- realized he may be out-matched] You will not pass. [Convo after final battle] I will not fall. I cannot die [broken] Why... why did she choose you? What make you able to defeat me, defeat me here? [sion
  17. Things I loved (Besides Bao-Dur :D ): Weapon Switching: This is so nice, because I like to de-equip my weapons when I'm in a city, or before I talk to my companions, but hated to have to go into the menu and de-equip everything only to re-equip it five minutes later. Now I can just click a button and it does it for me. The Sith Lords : I mean this is before the "Only two, master and apprentice rule" and it was nice to see that Obsidian figured this out. Rather than just having one ruling Sith Lord we now have three. And depending on who you believe is Darth Traya one of them doesn't even know it. Ranged Combat Feats: Makes your ranged fighters actually more useful. And make Atton an unstoppable killing machine once you Jedify him. Stealth Run: Makes sneaking around so much more fun. Especially when you have Mind Trick. " Atris' Fall: I totally loved how Atris fell to the DS. She destroyed herself. And I loved the subtly of that. Shades of Grey: K2 goes out of it's way to prove that the Jedi, the Sith and the Force are not just black and white, but have many shades of grey. Things I hated (besides Go-To ): Where the heck are my implant feats!?!: Putting so much into Constitution on such an easy game is a complete and total waste of attribute points if you ask me. Don't you regret it at all?: Nicky Katt's voice acting of Atton. The guy can do sarcasm and wit very well, but when it comes to being serious I found his performance completely lacking. Especially if we're supposed to feel sympathy for Atton. Or believe that he regrets the events of the past. Things I'm neutral about: Handmaiden: I find her childish and annoying (on a certain level), but I don't hate her and I don't love her either. Frankly, my male Exile talked to her, was nice to her, would have been fine with it if she had never boarded his ship and was more interested in pursuing a relationship with "the blinded one".
  18. Obsidian is the game developer, not the game publisher. That is LucasArts and it is them, not Obsidian, that decides what is canon and what is not. So whether Obsidian made the male version of the story first it is null and void and has absolutely no bearing on the argument at hand.
  19. I help Talia because I'm lightside and well it's not only better for Onderon (I don't trust anyone who allied with the Sith) and for the galaxy as a whole.
  20. The HK-50 didn't, and couldn't use the Ebon Hawk because the navicomputer was locked. All through the game you have to rely on T3 for astrogation. It's possible HK assumed that it was Kreia that locked it, and for all intents and purposes she's dead until the Exile enters the morgue. If HK did know he could have been waiting around for Coorta's contact to off him. I mean the guy did know the details of Coorta and the "maintenance officers" plans for the Exile.
  21. I'll take Bao and Mira.
  22. Kreia is trying to teach the Exile that every action has a consequence.
  23. Why did you do such a thing? Such kindnesses will mean nothing, his path is set. Giving him what he has not earned is like pouring sand into his hands. :::: And would that be a kindness? What if by surviving another day, he brings a greater darkness upon another? :::: The Force binds all things. The slightest push, the smallest touch, sends echoes throughout life. :::: Even an act of kindness may have more severe repercussions than you know or can see. :::: By giving him something he has not earned, perhaps all you have helped him become is a target. Seeing another elevated often brings the eyes of others who suffer. And perhaps in the end, all you have wrought is more pain. :::: And that is my lesson to you. Be careful of charity and kindness, lest you do more harm with open hands than with a clenched fist.
  24. Well considering Atton had to scrape himself off the floor when you enter the ****pit I'm guessing he was in the medical bay getting treatment for Di before Di comes and talks to you.
  25. Frankly, I don't know if I would have liked the ending they had planned or not. So I'm on the fence about the ending we got.
