  1. I second that eyeroll. Not that I don't like Revan or anything, but I personally think that the reason that so many people like Revan over any other Jedi/Sith is that they played Revan . I admire the Exile much more, because s/he chose (whether consciously or not) to live completely, without the Force.
  2. Yep. It think actually, the Jedi's reaction to the Exile might a combination of both, the Exile's Force bonding and the Exile's supposed connect to the Sith. One reason that I don't quite hold with the Force leech theory, at least for a LS Exile, is that her campanions don't get weaker they get stronger (if you want to throw game mechanics into it they level up too). If you were leeching the Force from someone don't you think they would get weaker? That they would look like the pit crew of Nihilus' ship, the Ravager? But they don't. Another reason is that Vrook mentions them following the Exile blindly sometimes against their will, but the only one that seems to be following the Exile against their will is Atton (because Kreia's been blackmailing him) and even only partly so if the Exile is female. Mira follows because she secretly wants to be like the Exile (her speech when you train her to be a Jedi shows that). Bao follows because he knows the Exile and know she's out to set things right (and he was frustrated with how things were going on Telos). Visas follows the Exile because she knows that the Exile is the only one who can stop Nihilus and that Nihilus must be stopped. Mical follows because A) he knows the Exile, she trained him briefly on Dantooine and B) he himself is looking for Jedi. With Brianna I'm not quite certain I think that she initially came with the Exile because she wanted to know just what it was about the Exile that got Atris' shorts in such a twist, to find out if what Atris said about the Exile was true and because he was a real live Jedi (which is why I have a hard time seeing Brianna only following a male Exile.) I tend to believe these reasons rather than the ones the Council give since they haven't really been around the Exile long enough to make any kind of fact based judgment. With a DS Exile, however, it's a different story since I see her as just a weaker version of Nihilus.
  3. I've said it over and over and over that I don't think Kreia was on board the Ebon Hawk when it was attacked, the first time, by the Sith War ship. She says: When we intercepted the Harbinger, it was crippled, drifting in space. It was a simple matter to board the vessel and rescue you. {Sighs} Unknown to me, however, the Sith were already on board. Just as we made the jump to hyperspace, they fired upon us, nearly destroying the Ebon Hawk. Now how could she intercept the Harbinger if she was already on board the Ebon Hawk? The Ebon Hawk which was on board the Harbinger? It sounds to me like there was a third ship, one that Kreia used to board the Harbinger. She found the Exile and just used the Ebon Hawk to escape. Sion fired on the ship again, leaving it in the state we find it in the prologue. In Ep. I Qui-Gon says "they constantly speak to us, telling us the will of the Force." Now if kreia could teach the Exile to merely "listen" to the midi chlorians in others... which is basically what she does in that first cutscene where we learn the passive precognition. The Exile says twice (once there and once later) that the Force feels different: "But it doesn't feel like it did... it feels like it is coming from across a great distance. and No... it felt... different. Faint. Perhaps because it was coming from a source other than her/him, from Atton, from Kreia. This is why I don't agree with the Force leeching crap that the Council gives in you in the LS version of the Dantooine enclave. How can they presume to know about the Exile, when they never spent any time with her? When they never saw and felt what she did? Especially when others like Chodo Habat say the Exile can possibly be healed.
  4. {Wide-eyed innocent, like Anakin in Episode 1} Are you an angel? Aw, I'm just kidding. That's the worst line I've ever used. Hope some poor kid doesn't start using it. ~Atton's F!Exile easter egg.
  5. Mmm, you must have missed the "life in general" part. The Force exsists in all living things to some extent. Even non-Force sensitives. And the Exile going off to find Revan is open to intepretation and player choice. My (female) Exile, would be hot footing it back to Coruscant to get the Jedi Temple back in order, and trying to find Brianna. I always use the "I don't want to be here anymore" dialog option.
  6. Ah, but the Exile is not feeling the Force solely through Kreia but through Atton, Mira, Bao, Mical/Handmaiden, Visas and (like I said before) life in general, too. Remember Atton was there from the beginning as well.
  7. I think every two levels you need to have Kreia "focus on it" in order for it to improve. Every time she does that it will glow a little more brightly.
  8. I have a pet theory that Vrook used Force Persuade on both Kavar and Zez-Kai Ell. " I'm not particularly fond of them either, but it was the only way I can explain it. I guess you could just say that the Exile was hearing the Force through others... mmm... come to think of it I think Kreia says something like that.... **checks** Yep, Kreia says after you escape from Peragus: "Perhaps you can hear the Force again... distantly, through me." Oh, and I forgot to mention it before but the Exile doesn't have to believe that the Council is the one that cut her/him off from the Force. There are dialog options to believe or deny it.
  9. That life can exsist without the Force. The Jedi are terrified of the idea of the Force not exsisting. Yet as someone pointed out the Ysalamari create a bubble around themselves where the Force doesn't exsist or is repressed, because the predators of the planet on which they are found, Myrkr, hunt using the Force. It is possible (since there is not mention of them in the games) that the Jedi do not know of their exsistance, and therefore not know that life could exsist without the Force. Silly Jedi, they even had evidence with the Exile standing right in front of them. That's why Kreia says: "She has brought you truth and you condem it!? The arrogance!" I heard a theory about the Exile still being able to use the Force even though s/he's been severed from it. Bear with me this involves Midi-chlorians (and for convience's sake I'll be calling the Exile female): The Exile when she severed herself from the Force killed all the Midi-chlorians in her, the reason she can still use the Force could be because she is listening to the Midi-chlorians in others. Kreia, Atton, Bao-Dur, etc. and all life in general. The Force bonding could still work if by listening to the Midi-chlorians in her companions causes them to bond with her. So basically it's not the Exile bonding with her companions but her companions bonding with her. Anyway that my inane ramblings on the subject, pick them apart at will. :D
  10. Yeah right, Bao was on Peragus with Remote because the droid they show in the cutscene looks like Remote? I guess that mean that those five guys that looked exactly like my male Exile (the ones that attack you on Onderon) were the Exile's long lost identical brothers out to get revenge because he got to be a Jedi and they didn't. It's a glitch! Deal with it.
  11. I voted save the Republic, let the Jedi control there destiny. Mainly because if I'm going to be forced to be a Force Adept/User I'm going to do it outside the Jedi Order. Still be lightside, but not be a part of the Order. Because, frankly, I think their rules, their goals, and their Code is unrealistic.
  12. Darth Jarize if you have more inlfuence with Atton than Disciple you'll only get the first cutscene with them. If you have more influence with Disciple than Atton you get the next one, and as long as you get the second cutscene, you can get the last cutsene. If that made any sense at all... I beg to differ. Bao and Visas are the only ones on that ship that even remotely know what the Exile went through at Malachor, IMHO. Bao because he was there (and felt the pain of all those people dying either through the Force or through the Exile) and Visas because she felt every other living thing on her planet, but herself, die. And one the key elements in a romance is understanding. Something that Handmaiden and Disciple, and to a lesser extent, Atton do not have. That and Obisidian had originally planned him to be a romance option, but scrapped it. Why?! I ask. Why?!
  13. Yes, unfortunately Bao is off limits in game. :'( Oh, well. That's what a little imgination and fanfic is for. :D
  14. Yep, those are the ones. Huzzah!
  15. Yep. I think I got it from Stoffe on the Lucas forums, but I have no idea. There's no readme file with it. I know I didn't download it on PCgamemods.
  16. Apparently, I downloaded a mod (not Allronix's) that restored Juhani's dialog about each planet you visit. Unfortunately, I can't remember where and from whom I downloaded it.
  17. In the Xbox version he is human, and says he fought with the Mandalorians, but never says he was one. I always found it odd that in the PC version they changed Xor to a Twi'lek. Especially when he says "Lesser non-human species" I was like you are a non-human species...
  18. Novels, source books, and sites all over the net. :D
  19. Oh, yeah. Click here this should give you all the answers you need.
  20. Frankly, I think it's open to interpretation. If people want to believe it's a Vong ship I let them (heck I thought it was too, but now with all this true Sith stuff, who knows? ) And you're right technically Boba and Jango are the same person.
  21. Jolee's wife is Nayama. Alora is the wife of Jolee's friend Sunry, on Manann. Anyway, companion quests can be triggered on any planet, in my experience, except the planet on which it takes place (with the exception of Bastila). (This is all in my experiences playing the game) Carth: You have to have gathered the second Star Map (the one after Dantooine) and have talked about his wife and son. Bastila: Must have had the conversation that takes place after she tells you about her mother and father. Mission: Must have left Taris, and she has to have told you about Griff leaving with Lena. Jolee: Have to have him in the party (of course) and just go to Manaan. Juhani: Has to have told you about being taken as a slave and then go to any space port (preferably Manaan or Korriban). Just make sure you've completed all other "trigger" quests before completing this one cause it's bugged. Canderous: Have to have had the coversation about what happened to the Mandalorians after the war. HK: Just talk to him and have some repair skill. Zaalbar: Part of the main quest on Kashyyyk. I think only Bastila and Carth's sidequests are dependent on the Star Maps. The rest just depend on level, as to when you can have what conversation with them. But I wouldn't hold me to that.
  22. It doesn't matter what gender you set Revan as to get the holocron of Bastila working on Korriban, Revan just has to be set to DS. And you don't need any demolition skills to use the Thorium charges.
  23. Sorry I have to comment on this. Kreia is talking about Jango Fett who was killed by Mace Windu. She says "too easily slain by a Jedi", Boba (if you discount EU) was killed by the Sarlacc, into which Han knocked him.
  24. With my first male Exile game it was Visas, since Handmaiden decided to act like a three year old and stop talking to me, and ever since it's been Visas. (I have persued the story with Handmaiden but I prefer Visas) With my female Exile: niether. That's not to say that I don't like Atton or Di, but Isan (my Exile) is Bao's girl. :D So I voted Male with Visas.
