Of all the characters Bao-Dur was the one I wanted to get places with. But noooo. They couldn't do that. Anyway, I think Handmaiden has the best romance of all the characters, even though I don't like Handmaiden (too childish for my tastes, same goes for Atton).

I voted for Visas, just because I think Bastila is childish.

Tell me more about the destruction of Visas's home
Mellypie replied to x1Predator's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kreia already knows what happened to Visas' homeworld. Ask her about the Sith that are looking for you and she'll tell you all about Darth Nihilus. -
Master Dueling, Master Sniper Shot, and Stealth Run are what I always give him.

What's even sadder is the in my recent perusal of the .tlk files is that you were going to be able to spar with him, and remote (deflecting blaster bolts). You were also going to be able to teach him some of the lightsaber forms that you learned from the Jedi Masters. **sigh** But is was cut out.

That's just the thing- he's not Canderous nor is he supposed to be. Frankly, I like Bao-dur because he wasn't like Canderous. He didn't hungry or live for battle, he fought because he hated what the Mandalorians did to Outer Rim worlds, especially the Iridonian colonies. He fought to annihilate the Mandalorians and he came damn close, and even though he hates them he still feels guilty about it. As for the voice, I found it to be very reflective of his controlled attitude, he doesn't want his anger to blind him again like it did during the Mandalorian War. He's quite a complex person, if you ask me. Edit/Addition: Oh, and as for him not being a very strong fighter, just give him a single-bladed lightsaber, the dueling feats and anything to increase his defense and he'll cut through Sith like they were butter.

Yep. This is straight from the .tlk files: Kreia: This was the tomb of Tulak Hord, known as the greatest lightsaber duelist of the Sith Lords. His skill was considered remarkable even in his time, when many true lightsaber masters lived. Exile: What made him so good? Kreia: That is unknown. But supposedly he created a holocron to teach his technique to other Sith. The holocron would have been laid to rest in his tomb. Unfortunately, Tulak Hord's tomb was among the first penetrated by the graverobbers of the new Sith order. If the holocron has survived, I doubt anyone living would know its location. Exile: Are you saying modern Jedi are poorly skilled with the lightsaber? Kreia: If you were to face an ancient Sith Lord in combat, you would learn that we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old Masters.

Yes, the Force is connected to everything, but the Exile managed to live without the Force, so Kreia believed that if the Exile could do it then anyone, if they were strong enough, could.

There are some color crystals that aren't random, you can get a silver crystal from that Rodian merchant on Nar Shaddaa if you complete the new trade routes quest. And you can get an orange one in a footlocker on Korriban, but that's all I know about.

Why the hell I must be wimpy to get LSP?
Mellypie replied to Handel's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Kavar was like that too. But I have a three word explanation: Vrook- Force Persuade. -
<< Do I really need to say it's Bao-Dur?

Never used GoTo, not once. I mean everything he can do T3 can do better so what's the point? On a sidenote Bao-Dur never left my party

Is there any way to spare Luxa? (spoiler)
Mellypie replied to Eddo36's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Not to mention that they used for her, the head I always use for Revan. -
I imagine that the Miraluka have "eyes" like blind cave fish: http://www.calacademy.org/science_now/arch...ndcavefish.html

Bastila's Battle Meditation is not the unique ability that Bioware would lead you to believe it is. This is a quote from Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi- The Golden Age of the Sith. Jedi Odan-Urr is explaining the Battle Meditation ability to Jedi Memit Nadill: The concept of Jedi Battle Meditation is simple, Memit Nadill. Every fighter brings his own fears, his own hopes with him into combat... With sufficient concentration, a Jedi --such as you or I-- can strengthen the hopes of our allies and heighten the fears of our enemies... Thus, what the armies know in their hearts must become true... because they believe it so strongly. Which means any Jedi can do it, but Bastila may be able to do it on a much larger scale than others or at a much younger age. I would also like to state that these comics were published in 1997 and take place 1,000 years before Knights of the Old Republic, during the Great Hyperspace War.

Is there any way to spare Luxa? (spoiler)
Mellypie replied to Eddo36's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Luxa is not a freak. She's a Zeltron. Which are very well know for their prowess in... intimate matters. " -
IIRC, they adopted it after the Sith War, the war with Exar Kun. Because there were several Jedi at that time that were married, Nomi Sunrider, Sylvar and Crado, etc.
-
Bao-Dur for me.
-
Disciple can become a Jedi as well.

Maybe you should try playing as a female PC then you will see that he says the exact same thing to a female PC.
-
It disappointed me.

Revan & the Exile's gender/alignment
Mellypie replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Why do people say this? The story is exactly the same male or female. The romance is different not the story. A little dialog is different not the story. Your still Revan, Bastila still scarcifices herself, she still turns to the darkside and you still have to kill Malak. The only thing that changes the story is your choice on the Temple Summit. -
Really? It's great for getting rid of those pesky melee shields the mercenaries wear.
-
And he can still use his Shield Breaker ability if you give him a single bladed saber.

Juhani's sidequest. Helping her resist the DS and all it just one of my favorites. Just talking to Juhani is fun. I know a lot of people don't like her (why I'll never know) but I do she's number three on my list (Carth and Jolee being 1 & 2).
