  1. This fix comes with no warrenty. I take no responsibility for any physical or psychological damange this may cause to you, your XBox, or cat (and/or dog). During battle, if you begin to experience a decress in framerate, switch to an alternate character in your party (BLACK button). The framerate will restore itself. I have confirmed this on my XBox twice. Once during my first game, and again during my second. Slowdowns were very few and far between on my machine.
  2. No. Nobody here owns the game. We just all like to hang out here banter as if we did, making up things here and there so we don't get bored. There are freezing issues, as there was in the first. There are frame rate issues, which popped up in the first sometimes too. There are glitches which may hinder or destroy your progress through the game, just like in the first game. You might see one of them, you might see none of them, you might get every single glitch we've discovered and more! "is it worth it" - nobody here can answer that for you. You have to make up your own mind about that based on what you've read. No matter how many people tell you "yes" or "no", you might disagree if you just try the game.
  3. You just need to find, and reactivate, the Jedi assembly line where they are produced.
  4. I don't suppose you remember the dialogs and options you selected to raise your Influence with T3-M4? We are always looking to add to our little Influence guide (spoiler forum)
  5. Teris will always exist in my dreams... it takes just as long to get off the bloody planet in the game. Anyone try to return for those bounties?
  6. Has anyone tried leaving the Taris bounties incomplete and return with Mira? I'm just look for additional Influence with her. Unfortunately, I already accepted the bounties -- I'm sure she would have chimed in on those.
  7. Disciple (for NNTakot) is a character who joins you on Dantooine if you are female. He will tell you why he looks familiar if you gain enough influence. I was able to get him to tell me that and had him trained as a Jedi before I left the library you meet him in. He's a pushover.
  8. I did Onderon last during my first game. As soon as I attempted to leave Dxun, after completing Onderon, I received a message telling me to come back. If you do not believe you have received it, just try returning to Dxun and see if Mandalor has anything new to say.
  9. 1... and 2 = you answered your own question. Yes. Select the droid while on the Ebon Hawk and it will plainly display it's name. 3 = Only very late in the game. 4 = Yes. He will fight when Bao-Dur is in your group. If you enter/exit the Ebon Hawk enough times, you will see several scenes in which Bao-Dur will upgrade him to make him more useful in battle. 6 = This is explained, although very poorly, late in the game.
  10. *cough*cough*weez*gag*cough* Oh gosh, excuse me. It appears to have kicked up again.
  11. You don't need to pick locks. If you are looking for the 4th proton core, it is in there... somewhere. If you had destroyed it, you would be dead.
  12. "those people" isn't the most descriptive. To whom are you refering? You also don't need to bump your post every 30 minutes. There are nice people here, they'll answer when they have the chance.
  13. I just started my second game which I plan on completing at LS Male w/ a DS Female Revan. I'll see if the trigger is DS Revan.
  14. Those are exactly the two questions I always think about when I say "everything" is wrapped up in ESB. I just avoided mentioning them up till now though. " But KotOR1 had a few of those too, but just that... a few, which made it a "what next?" ending -- in my opinion. In both cases (KotOR1 and ESB) they are all side notes though, but there just seemed to be several lose strings in the main plot for this game when I finished it the first time. This thread has been very informative so far though and people have been great to fill in a lot of little points here and there, or to offer possible answers which will certainly be in my mind when I play through a second time. I at least know several locations where I need to pay extra special attention to this time around.
  15. Are you LS or DS? I heard a rumor that it is only destroyed if you are LS (unlikely in my opinion). I was LS when I went through the first time, so I can't report on the DS possibility.
  16. For the core of the story, no. If you want to continue to gain Influence and see what else she might have to say, you can find a few points here: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=26579
  17. Yes, I was lightside. You will run into them again.
  18. You meet them first ... . If you've already run into them there, just keep playing. You'll run into them again.
  19. Ack! Pazaak is evil! Just be ready to get pissed off if you play Pazaak. The game doesn't cheat, but damn is it lucky.
  20. I'm almost a broken record with this ESB comparison. The ending of KotOR2 was *not* left open ending, like Empire Strikes Back. ESB left many questions unanswered, but the movie stood on its own -- you did *not* have to watch Return of the Jedi in order to understand what had happened in ESB. You knew exactly who the characters where, what they were doing and why they were doing it. The ending of the movie provides closure for the events. You are left with a feeling of "what's next?" at the end of ESB, as you are at the end of KotOR1, but the characters actions and motives are never in question. There is another movie trilogy which people have compaired KotOR2 to. The second movie in that trilogy requires you to watch the third in order to understand a lot of what happened and why in the second. That is just bad story telling. What I've been pointing out in this thread, or been trying to correct in my head, is that major plot points are built up and then glazed over. There are important missions and dialogs which are never truely explained or seem to not even really matter. It is not the open ended nature of the end that (most) people have trouble with, it is the number of threads left unanswered, unaddressed, and lack of any closure what so ever.
  21. If you visit Nar Shaddaan first, you can easily twist Mira to the Dark Side.
