Both now. All fans are indeed spinning and no multimeter. Ram thing didn't help and it is indeed just couple seconds without video output. I'm pretty sure PSU went wonky and short circuited something in the motherboard. Meh.

My brother's computer shuts down right after you turn it on. It stays on just for couple of seconds before it shuts down, no warning bleebs or anything. It did make some weird sound when it was still working, like something from a fan going broke perhaps, but all fans at least seem to be working. I think my first cRPG that I played from start to finish and understood what was happening was Land of Lore - Throne of Chaos. Before that I had played some Eye of the Beholder games, some goldbox games and some ultima games, but I wasn't good enough with english to really understand what was going on. CRPG that got me hooked was Fallout 1.

Jack Reacher Quite good movie with some really funny bits. The bathroom fight scene was awesome.

Final book of Wheel of Time. It was good, but... perhaps not as great it could have been. Everything came together, but not everything "clicked". It's kinda hard to explain. I think I have to re-read the whole series someday.

From those examples your wife sounds slightly annoying and your father(and whole family) overreacts and this has been going for 10 years. I don't have any advice to give other than don't mix the kids into this.

Jedi Shadow Balance has 7 attack rotation + 8th when the target is under 30% health and that is without shadow strike, which should be added(and put talents in) for PVE.

I think f2p get 25% experience penalty at level 10 and that is increased to 50% at level 20.

Humanoid makes some really good points. I think base damage rotations are too long(use too many buttons), besides what Humanoid already mentioned: "UI feedback as to your abilities is exceedingly poor. For example, some special abilities require fairly complex conditions and prerequisite actions before being able to use them effectively." This makes basic gameplay getting worse when you gain new abilities and not better. Too many heroic 4 man quests. They brake the pace of leveling, because it takes too long to form a group. Bonus quests are extremely grindy and "samey". Just because they are bonus content doesn't mean they can suck. Space combat is still probably my biggest disappointment. X-wing and Tie Fighter are two of my favourite games and then we got this on-rails-shooter with barrel roll.

Battleground performance for me(and many others) was quite bad. Frames would drop to low tens right from the start and would stay there for the duration of the battleground. I could zoom so close that only thing I see on my screen is the wall and I still would not get frames over 20. The engine isn't(or wasn't) very good with large battles.
