I had hoped for Jagged Alliance 3 to continue the gameplay of sector based control game while its turn based aspects being improved on, which is already done as it is using Silent Storm's engine. Even better if the players have access to building/upgrading stronghold(s) similarly to X-Com: Imagine building a helicopter pad gives you access to air support. Garages for light tanks or humvees. Armory to store weapon loots as well as bonuses for repairing weapons. Medicbay is self-explanatory. Radio comm tower grants access to communication to the outside world to receive international community's aid in form of finances or the blackmarkets depending on the player's reputation. Unfortunately, Jagged Alliance 3 is seen to be a game that is taking the short cut's route: Simply a Silent Storm 1.5 game with a modern setting. Me a sad panda. The combat interface using Silent Storm's engine would be groovy, with updated aesthetics of course. What I enjoyed in Silent Storm is the ability to sidestep, unlike in Jagged Alliance 2 where if the enemy is positioned at the corner behind the door, entering it will guarantee a 100% interruption from them since your field of vision is obstructed.

SecureROM is a pain in ME. I often get General Protection Fault error just trying to play the damn game. Worse, it also happends during the middle of the game during arcs where I haven't saved my game which is very infuriating.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OBSIDIAN! May it continue on for the next thirty~

I personally prefer romances that is along the lines of Asian kind where it is mostly expressed with subtle actions and expressions than declaring lulz lines something like"I is luv you! We is go nearest stable 2 go make babies'!", hollywood style of conveying WAFF (Warm and fuzzy feeling). In short, I don't really enjoy Western romances, even in fantasy books. No offence, differences in culture appreciation I guess.

DoW2 with WiC multiplayer style with customisable/upgradable units for respective players = PURE F'kkin WIN

-Fix armor clipping issues. The chainmail default armor model for female as an example, has a bad clipping issue on her neck to shoulder position. -Option for ultra high texture. The texture resolution in comparison between PC face and armor is HUGE which can be a distraction in up close conversation. The scale mail armor especially (Default Fighter armor) has horrendous ugly texture. Please update it. -New animations as well as if possible, update old ones. A more natural walking animation than a robotic one especially.(Since you Obs doodz has mo-cap equipment finally rite?) -More voice selection -More hair/head model selection -A series of down to earth looking weapons. Presently, the long swords looks no different than a bastard sword and the short swords, looking no different than a meat cleaver. -Return to old school death systems too as well

No Macross Frontier this week. One sad Panda until the next

Seems this new installment will be absent of romances. Obsidian, brace yourselves against the rage of romance-tards in the forum!

Sins of a Solar Empire? Nexus, the Jupiter Incident?

Zehir is the name of a god, not a place.

I think they are likely to reappear if they intend to continue the storyline of releasing the demon prince that they left off in the first game.

I hope they follow the same narration style as they did for CoH. What better way to convey the audiences the world of WH40K afterall? We certainly know the marines and orcs will be playable races and no doubt the Chaos. I hope for the Tyranides makes it in this time seeing that they claimed CQC has been successfully been implemented in CoH's engine.

It is not a matter of comparison, but rather how he delivered the lines. He certainly has a good voice, but the VA simply did not invest much emotions into the lines necessary. A good example would be during the conversations with the playable NPCs in Normandy. During intimate lines in getting to know the crew, be it with Wrex or Ashley and Kaidan, Hale delivers them with a soft and quiet voice that expresses intimacy and sincerety. That itself gives the player a sense wearing the shoes of a big sister role with the crew. The Male Shepherd on the other hand speaks in a manner where I felt at times, invested in too little emotions and simply just reading from the script. Hence I coined the term 'robotic'. I understand there are cheesy lines in ME, but if you speak those lines with the absence of the GARness Hale manages to capture to a degree that the male VA is unable to, the line just comes off with eye rolling moments.

I feel you are being too harsh on Adam who can be described as, a talented and eccentric modder. His strength mainly lies on innovation and creativity, creating unusual ideas that make what seems impossible into a possibility. Lute Hero is a great example of it. I won't comment on his other works as I admit, I only played Lute Hero. But I enjoyed his bizarre humor that I feel is along the line of Monty Python's. But I strongly disagree at the bolded statement I made on the quote. By joining Obsidian, it will expose him to how to make RPG designs and even storytelling into technical gameplay. There will be mentors to guide him and in time, he will learn to translate the cool technical innovations he is able to create and streamline it into an RPG design and even learn to forgo or put restraint on some ideas. Thus by you claiming that he must only be placed in the technical department to make games is a narrow view and sight of how to make use and nurture a talented individual.

Ditto. At least I feel immersed during gameplay with fewer moments of rolling my eyes during certain line deliveries.

Hey Anthony, we're all right behind you Glad to see that MCA also considers you as his good friend and bud. You're no longer who you were now and I hope you'll keep looking forward from now and then, here and there ever.

Surprisingly, I could imagine male Shepahrd being voiced by Asian man due to the contribution of his robotic voice. In the end, I would like to see a voice altering system in the next sequel where you could have some freedom in adjusting Shepard's voice by pitch. Something similar to Metal Gear Online.

If Obsidian ever considers implementing a mini-game in NX3, look no further than Lute Hero for inspiration!

You know, I'm concerned of the resting system in SoZ. MotB forces the players to consider their strategic situation before resting, thus forcing the players not to abuse resting. How will SoZ stop players from abusing the resting system that affected the gameplay of NWN2 and NWN1? One way I could guess would be using time to affect the gameplay along the lines of Fallout 1. The world is dynamic to the point that after XX days later, if the player do not accomplish certain quests it would result in branching into a different scenario and ending. Another would be that it would affect the In-game economic status where bandits would attack your trade outpost or caravans that would affect your wealth or in-game opportunities if not dealt sooner. But again that seems to be quite complicated for such system to be integrated into a NWN2 engine where it keeps track of days and time.

Anything still can happend in the span of 5 months from now on though. In addition, it doesn't help that there are questionable voting machines out there that will be used for the General election. This will mean Obama must win at least win a larger percentage to cover up the losses from possible rigged machines.

Mr Brandon is certainly a busy man. Making music for Alpha Protocol, Aliens and SoZ all by himself. I wonder if he has an assistant/partner in Obsidian's music studio department though.

ROFL! Lute hero! Goodness! Awesome to know they have the music of the first Doom level. Ah, the nostalgia.
