to be honest, i never paid close enough attention when my character was in a battle-ready stance. but also, since the combat wasnt very difficult, i rarely switched between stances. so im not too familiar with how the difference stances looked (or never paid much attention to it).

*points and laughs* just kidding. my main beef with it was it was very the interface, imo, seemed very user unfriendly and clunky. if this new game is more perhaps similar to civilization or something like that, then i might check it out. but if it has any resemblance to rebellion then i will steer clear, better graphics or not.

i 100% agree with this statement. if, god forbid, we the customers have any say whatsoever in it, id vote for keeping the nwn2 forums open on this message board, even if they have to be labelled the "unofficial" nwn2 forums.

oh god i didnt even bother clicking the link when i saw the reference you made to star wars: rebellion. that had to be the single worst video game purchase ive ever made. <_<

my guess is we'll have information about possible kotor3 production at e3 (or whatever the big gaming convention is called) at the earliest.

i have a sneaking feeling that the kotor2 ending and events will remain unresolved and lucasarts will just get the developer (whoever it will be, if it is made) to start a new story, but reference the events of the first two. if that happens, then i honestly dont want to see the series continue. nothing id hate to see more than to see a series i enjoyed turned into a complete joke with unsatisfying endings and big plot holes never resolved. <_<

i wouldnt say he was only a "cameo" in terms of screen time. he had atleast two major cutscenes that i can think of, and most, if not all, of visas' dialogue is about him, not to mention a bit of kreia's is about him and his power. plus, of course, the battle against him. thats not to say he was played up as much as malak, but he also wasnt just a minor character with barely any air time.

i cant recall how far along the development process, but the devs DID state that there would NOT be xbox live. i believe it was sometime in either september or october when they were "clarifying" all those magazine previews which stated that xbox live would be available.

no offense, but wtf are you talking about? where the hell do you get your gas prices from? today's gas is selling for the SAME price as it was in the late 70's? like i said, id LOVE to gas my car up where you live if thats the case, because it sure as HELL has increased since the late 70's by a large margin. it might be skewed by inflation, but im talking actual dollar amounts. unless you can show me actual proof that salaries have risen at the same rate of gas prices including inflation, thats a flawed comment. because even if inflation has brought the "adjusted" gas prices down, it has also brought the income down too, in regards to how much disposable income a family has after all its expenses. its funny how i "dont know my stuff" just because i disagree with your point of view, yet all youve done is discount what ive said without proof. lets see some actual figures where prices have remained stagnant in terms of gas prices to the consumer. btw, just because YOU know your stuff, does not mean volourn does. dont confuse the arguments youve brought forward as his arguments, since hes been arguing different things than you. so dont automatically assume that hes got a better handle on things than i do just because he happens to agree with your stance. that would be like saying that a chimp that nods his head when a brilliant scientist is talking is also a genius because he happens to agree with the scientist, even if he has no clue what the scientist is actually saying.

it amazes me how many threads there are about topics that, if you had played the game and not rushed through it, actually doing the sidequests and doing all the "little things", would have answers to your questions. as ostkant said, the game already answers your question.

do people not do a search of topics before posting? ive personally answered this problem 2 times already for other people. go in to your party selection screen and de-select all your party members, that way you will be going solo.

did i say that? i said he didnt exactly have a tonne more air time. never did i say he didnt have more. and you confused my comment about being a big part of the story. i said that ATRIS was just as big a part of the story as malak, which she was. in fact, she had MORE of a story early on than malak did. the only part of the story malak really dominated were cutscenes and a final battle. also, its the sith lordS. so obviously all three needed to be a part of the story so it would be next to impossible (and quite stupid) if just one of them got the same kind of exposure as malak did. nihilus got a couple of cutscenes, a full npc party member who talks endlessly about him through dialogue (visas) and a final battle. not sure what else you wanted out of his character, other than to dominate the exposure, which would have meant they might as well call the game the sith lord (singular).

besides the link hades gave you, id suggest you read all threads with a "O" beside it. those have developer comments in them. now while they havent exactly fixed all the things people are complaining about, all you asked was proof of ANYTHING that they were commenting on

so the games price needs to double AND suck in order for you to agree its a bad thing? what if the games price remains the same but the quality goes down the tube? is that not enough proof for you? monopolies can do one of two things (and sometimes both): 1)bring down quality and/or 2)drive up prices for that good or service.
