  1. I think that's all... that's all I've found anyway. No doubt there will be more in part two.
  2. Hi Grimo. Here's what I'm thinking: 1) Maybe I'm misunderstanding you but Zahua isn't. He's just hanging around Stalwart. Defeat Maelwald, go to Stalwart, and you can get him. I agree that Caroc's dungeon is a serious pain in the ass though. 2+3) Yeah... look, at the end of the day, if you're a completionist (ie you do every single quest) then you're eventually going to overtake the story level, and become all powerful. Even without the expansion, this happens on a completionist playthrough. There's not a hell of a lot you can do here, because if you make it more challenging, non-completionist players will never be able to finish anything. Hey, if you work that hard, you deserve to feel like a god at the end. If you don't like that, then you should pace yourself a little (ie leave out a few quests) 4) Yeah, it's pretty random. I still think the Devil of Caroc's backstory fits in nicely, but the rest is random. Still, do you really want more Leaden Key stuff? I think a change is good.
  3. Yeah, so let's say you have one mechanics master, one lore master, and one stealth master. Then I'm never sure what to do with the remaining 3 companions. I tend to just randomly assign points to them...
  4. I mean lore, stealth, athletics, mechanics and survival. Obviously, you need one mechanics expert, or you're a bit screwed. Then each character needs a little in athletics (to prevent breaking their ankles in scripted interactions) and a little stealth. Survival and lore doesn't seem terribly useful to me. Its a nice system (since you don't always need a thief in your party) but I hope there are more skills in POE 2. Maybe first-aid? Or bartering? Or something?
  5. Yeah, unless it clearly says "Send Eder/other person in", it's checking your main characters stats.
  6. Dear ktchong, looking at your posts, you have some anger issues. Live and let live. You'll be a lot happier just letting go of the things you cannot control... (and you cannot control 99% of what other people do) ... That being said, I do kind of see what you mean there. There are problems that you can fix, and problems that you can't. For example, I'm really short. Not a hell of a lot I can do about that except live with it. Same with being a certain race. But fat people can theoretically loose a few kgs. It's not easy, but it's possible.
  7. Everyone is checked individually I think. So an enemy might notice character A before character B. Thus, if you just want to scout (and not trigger combat), just send your stealthy guy in.
  8. There's a BIG difficulty spike in the final battle. Level 9 is way too low. Honestly, I'd recommend max leveling before jumping in that put.
  9. Wow, what a lot of raging. Relax OP. Hmmm, honestly I'm struggling with both dragons a little on hard. It's all those extra creeps/spell-casters that come with the dragons... I do kind of think a lot of the tougher fights in this game boil down to "does my paralyze/petrify spell hit?" If yes, easy-peasy, if no... prepare for your team to get paralyzed/petrified/charmed... But then I don't claim to be particularly good. I do hope that in POE2 there are some strategies that don't completely rely on status effects...
  10. Yay so finally we will have all classes. I just wish Devil was easier to access. Technically we're still waiting for a barbarian! I agree with above opinions... Devil was cool, but felt rushed, if only because you can finish her quest in 10 minutes of getting her. I would have put multiple people on her "hit list" and spread them out a little more (like in non-white march regions).
  11. lol, I also just tried randomly until I got the pattern. Overall, Durgan's battery is a cool dungeon, but some of the puzzles (like that one) could be solved by just re-trying them over and over.
  12. New patch also giving you trouble? I un-installed and re-installed everything up to (but not including) the offending patch. It's not the most elegant solution, but it works.
  13. Thanks Synfrei! Don't know how I missed it! (guess I was too busy fighting fish people)
  14. Yup... Far more irritating is that you lose the weapon you throw. The vanilla game "interlude scenes" are pretty forgiving though. I never screwed one up until White March...
  15. I seem to have missed it. Done everything except Cragholdt Keep. It isn't there is it? Playing a staff wielding priest of Wael so really want it!
  16. Tell me if it works, please Though all of my screen (and the map) are pink, so be happy it's just the weapons In the end, I deleted, and re-installed everything except the latest patch, so it's back to normal... I think I'm gonna skip this patch... So you just skipped the latest patch? Hmmm...the thing is, I couldn't even get to Caed Nua before, because my game kept crashing. Will experiment with this a bit more when I have more time. That's odd. Apart from minor bugs, I've had no serious problems with the expansion. Which is why I'm skipping the latest patch for the moment. I'm sure there will be another soon.
  17. There's already a couple of threads on this, but as far as I can see, the baby sneak attack is the most popular. It's basically free damage for any melee character. I think the aura is also okay if you don't have a paladin, and fighters recovery can't hurt your survivability. I'm too impatient to wait for those skeletons... (which is why I don't use chanters to begin with)
  18. Tell me if it works, please Though all of my screen (and the map) are pink, so be happy it's just the weapons In the end, I deleted, and re-installed everything except the latest patch, so it's back to normal... I think I'm gonna skip this patch...
  19. Ha, I also tried at level 11 and got creamed! Hey, as the newest, most badass dragon boss, I assume we should be max level before tackling him.
  20. Have the same problem. Installed the update and now the world is full of pink (T_T) Will try re-installiing....
  21. Yup, even in the vanilla game, xaurips seems to have a lot more paralyzing spears. And those name spirits with their wail of paralysis was always annoying... To the OP, priests have anti-paralysis spells, but those are high-level and not full-proof. Also, try to use choke-points. Since the AI has been upgraded, I'm finding using choke-points is more necessary to win fights.
  22. lol, and where did you get this convenient tit-bit of info? Yup, isn't that basically what happened to a certain new companion?
  23. Haha, one review compared it to a book. We had the whole book, then suddenly the author came up with a chapter 5A to go inbetween chapters 5 & 6. If you look at it that way... it's a little strange. And people who are playing the whole thing for the first time will have the most natural experience. That being said, I wanted to try a new class, so I was happy to start a new game. Caed Nua isn't that far into the game. Just replay up till there and then you can jump into the expansion.
  24. Well... it's just like every other forum right? Perhaps worse because this game keeps evolving with every patch. Just make a new thread like everyone else?
