They already did, ages ago. The answer was pretty much no, you can mod it in yourself if you want it. Well, I guess I will be skipping this game then after all. Not going to support a roleplaying game that doesn't understand roleplaying. That is literally the dumbest reason to not play a game I've ever heard. I mean, I'd like a toggle for walking, but that can't possible be a dealbreaker. Don't stand so hard on your principles that you'll miss a good time man..

I don't think many people who are strictly console gamers, will invest in a copy of a game that only works on a pc. Even if it's to support a game they like. There might be some people who mainly plays on console, but owns a pc who has joined after the announcement of PoE on consoles. This is just speculation thou, and hardly that. I own a few consoles, but I rarely play on them anymore. They had nothing to do with me backing in any way. Post university the time for gaming has been sparse, and I use mine for rpgs on my pc.

Oh, this is gonna be one of those threads, huh... Well, personally I'm for it, if it's not ressource consuming to do. Might try to play a non-gendered char at some point if it's in there. It's role-playing after all. I think that saying it's millions of gamers is a bit much tho, and even if it's not going in, then play the game anyways. Just play a role as something you're not in RL, It's part of the fun.

Two-handed sabers

+1 I did some digging, and found this historic drawing. You can clearly see that sabers are for one-handed use only. -
False. The base game is good and all, but if you already have it, then don't cheat yourself out of the expansions. How is that false? If Cbonecapone plays the base game and doesn't like it, there's no reason to get the expansions. "Because you already have the base game," is not a reason to spend another ~$30. I suggest getting the DLC, but what Haran said is not unreasonable in the least. False. It is very unreasonable.

I think I'll go through a BG 2ish adjustment period. At first I won't like the change, but then I'll get used to it, and in time they'll be the only real portraits. And really far down the line I'll probably swap them all out for random fanart from the internet or pictures of Gordon Ramsay. That's usually how it goes.

The point is that you feel immersed into a believable world with it's own rich history and culture. 100% of players won't have to learn a new language. Exotic words or in this case I think it's inspired by welsh/celtic words, are a wonderful thing to have in a fantasy game.

It looks AWESOME! Not gonna lie, that shop gave me an instant Adventures Mart from Waukeen's Promenade boner.

Less godlikes! Is what I'd rather want. PoE had too many godlikes for my taste. They're are supposed to be rare, but every other backer npc was a godlike. I don't say OE should stop exploring godlikes, their lore and different variaties, but hopefully without all the backer npcs, there won't be so many of them all over the place. Oh yeah, and it would be cool if a few more of those remaining in PoE 2 were involved in quests.

Have to upgrade ship for deep seas. - RTS like. Multiple options for level scaling; crit path only, side content only, both & none. Enemy level is shown when hovered over. Surprisingly smooth production, 2 more months of prod then post prod starts in August. Similar map count; less wilderness areas more world map exploration(?). No crunch at all. More smooth development talk, bigger team. Importing save game; even small conversation options(Calisha convo) in PoE1 can have reactivity in Deadfire. Wonder if these small options will only be integrated with a save game(?). Adam is such a boss. His passion, dedication, and pride for his work shines through even here in a sound only interview. So much win. ^_^
