Like every team sport, I'm sure there are gay players who just keep it quiet. Although a gay guy who can skate has another sporting option. That sounds like a stereotype but, seriously, figure skating takes a certain mentality.

Very few people actually choose to believe in God without having been indoctrinated from birth. I find there is a distinct lack of choice in every Christian I know. Going to a Christian school, that's quite a lot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can say that about Christianity, but religion in general has been a huge part of humanity. Religion is extremely important. It plays a very prominent role in civilization. Dismissing it as stupid seems a bit short-sided to me.

You know, the Catholic church actually supported the claim that homosexuality is a dormant genetic trait. Even the bible is quite clear that it isn't homosexuals who are bad, but rather their actions. This doesn't mean they support homosexuality, it just means that someone who is gay is not inherently evil. They expect abstinence. I don't think it's fair to expect that from someone, but I was happy when they released that statement (It was in the early 90's, if I remember correctly.) I'm just disappointed most other Christian churches ignore the science.

I agree with that, but there are many government run programs for adoption as well, and I don't think they should discriminate. They should seek the best parents, regardless of race, religion, or orientation.

Not many teams have taken advantage of dropping the 20line pass rule, but I saw Carolina do it during the regular season and it looks like it may help them hoist the Cup. True, but race isn't really the crux of my argument. Non carcasian isn't the only minority. Should muslims have equal adoption rights? Is it fair to give the child to a family that will force it to pray 5x a day to a brick? Obviously not. Just because members of society will discriminate against minorities and gay people, doesn't mean they shouldn't be given the same opportunities. Society will never change at that rate. We'd still have segregation. Race and sexual orientation should not have any bearing in adoption, but rather good parenting skills. It's true that children of gay parents encounter major discrimination, but those children also tend to be open-minded and willing to fight discrimination. Part of that is because a gay couple rarely gets knocked up randomly, so they are much more prepared for parenting. There are no statistics that show the children are more prone to being gay.

By that thinking, minorities shouldn't be allowed to adopt either because the child might face discrimination.

Spoken like someone who has not been married. Why don't you tell that to my wife? Seriously, a gay couple deserves the same civil rights as a straight couple. Right now, in most states, they do not get that. If people think it's going to destroy marriage, then Taks is right and the government should get out of the marriage business. The government should just handle civil unions and let churches decide whether to marry a couple or not. The state has no business preaching.

Choice of games is always tough to look at too early. Every one of these consoles is too young to really expect a ton of games for. It takes 2 years from release for a console to really have what can be called a game library. I can't think of a console that didn't take time to build up a library, and with games getting more complex, it takes developers even more time to adjust to the new generation of consoles.

I like how you threw in Diablo there...almost slipped by my keen eye. The biggest problem with Lionheart and PoR2 is that they had potential and failed miserably. It's like that unplayable Lands of Lore sequel.

I'm pretty sure Fenghuang is a Quizno's corporate plant. I only like the Chicken Carbonara at Quizno's, but it is an insanely good sandwich. I prefer a place called Erik's Deli, but I think it's only on the West Coast. Still, the most common place I go to for sandwiches is a grocery store deli. You just can't beat a decent deli.

There are video settings on the 360 control console. You might want to fiddle with them.

Why is this important to you? Do you have a stockpile of old Xbox games? Have you looked closely at the list of games that work? This is such a non-issue to me, I'm just curious to know.

There isn't a huge visible difference between the most recent Xbox games and the new 360 games for a few reasons. First off, it takes developers time to become effective on new consoles. Every console goes through many different stages of game quality. The Xbox is at it's performance peak, or at least close to it. The 360 is only just starting the climb. Secondly, TV's haven't really caught up with the technology. If I plug a PS3 into my current TV, it's not going to look super impressive. I need a top of the line TV and games that are designed for the top settings. The TV's are out there, but they are super expensive. My TV is HD, but it's only capable of the lower resolution setting (480?)

Uh, without Roloson, the Oilers are in huge trouble. He's been insane in net. Conklin is in over his head. I went to bed with the score 3-1 think Edmonton was pretty safe.

Part one was very fun. It is definitely like GTA in a warzone. I wouldn't say it's more violent, in fact it's more appropriately violent. You aren't killing hookers and cops.
