Xbox 360
Do you like Grand Theft Auto? Honestly I just enjoyed going around collecting green thingees so I could jump higher so I could collect more green thingees. It was a vicious cycle, but the therapy has been fairly successful.

Xbox 360
I traded it in recently, I think I got $6 for it. Still, with Bioshock and Eternal Sonata, it helped me get ME for free.

Your favorite game
Jagged Alliance 2. No explanation needed. Edit: Quest For Glory series is a close second, although V didn't really leave me with a good feeling about the franchise.

Xbox 360
LadyCrimson, I recommend taking a long look at all the arcade offerings. Beside some stellar classics, there are quite a few titles made just for the 360. Worms, a few interesting board games, and quite a few puzzle games are all done very well. And a bunch of them have coop modes, so I think you'll find plenty to do with the spouse. I know it's really strengthened Nick and Llyr's wedded bliss.

Modding
I'd also imagine it would be harder to mod a mac version than a PC version, but I don't know much about it. You might want to choose an easier project to begin your modding, specifically a game with a toolset that is more user friendly about mods. Perhaps you could try to mod NWN or Oblivion into a Star Wars type game.

The Kaft and the Console
My daughter enjoys drooling on the Xbox controller. Sometimes she will sit and chew on the second controller while I play around on ME. I'm serious about the mouse and keyboard being absolutely useless in ME. It's a very basic control scheme. But I'm playing on casual, so what do I know

Bioshock: Here there be spoilers
Games with interesting gameplay? I'll be honest, gameplay isn't that big of a concern for me. I mean I want adequate gameplay, which Bioshock has. But I don't care about the challenge of it. At some point in my life, I stopped enjoying challenging games and started looking for games that entertain me. I play almost everything on easy, and I love every minute of it.

What are you playing now?
Might and Magic 3 was the first RPG I ever played. I was in 8th grade, and someone gave it to me to try out. It was the beginning of the end!

The Kaft and the Console
I'm not sure why you'd need a mouse for ME, the controller is pretty basic and accurate aiming isn't an issue like FPS games. Join our Live crew!

Hope for a new Shadowrun and Crimson Skies game?
Well, they just did Shadowrun (butchered it, supposedly) so I'd think it's either Mechwarrior or Crimson Skies. What the heck is Smith and Tinker? Do they develop pen and paper or video games? Or are they a toy company? It's a bit hard to tell on the website, which actually keeps locking up on me. I'm not sure if we'll ever see a Mechwarrior game like the ones in the 90's. They were almost trying to be true simulators, like a realistic flight simulator. It was awesome, but I think they'll focus more on easy action in todays market.

NHL
It's a shame he had to go through this, but I think he can help Atlanta right the ship a bit. They are a seriously underachieving team right now.

Bioshock: Here there be spoilers
I agree that Bioshock is a mediocre shooter, but I sure wish more developers spent as much time on atmosphere, character development, and overall mood. It's got a fascinating story in a fascinating setting. Games like Halo bore me to tears five minutes in, Bioshock kept me interested for about 15 hours.

What are you playing now?
Yep, I made a major upgrade pretty much solely because The Witcher wouldn't run well on my PC.

skiing
In many ways, snowboarding is more forgiving than skiing. Falling down is a natural part of the experience, and it's much easier to get back up. I'd also say it is easier to learn, although harder to master.

Oh man, you may be right. DEFINITELY.

Movies you have seen lately
Yep, but it does look like their next movie is basically a new Cheech and Chong films. There was some cocaine use.

US shoppers killed in gun rampage
I would say the biggest difference between violence a few decades ago and violence today is the power of the media and the youth of the offenders. I know the media is much faster and more tenacious than it used to be. The information age means these stories spread like wildfires. The age of offenders is a more disturbing trend, although I might be just guessing here. I really see this coming down to bad parenting, or at least lousy discipline skills. Divorce rates HAVE risen in the last 50 years, and I think you can see that reflecting in the last two generations. Maybe it was better when religion really forced people to stay together whether they hated each other or not.

Bioware desperately seeking writers
Not to be harsh, but if you really want to be a writer, your first step should be not writing in constant fragments. I'm being. Serious here, it's difficult. When reading what you wrote.

US shoppers killed in gun rampage
Anymore? Violence is nothing new. Our world is incredibly safe when compared to just a few hundred years ago. Where are the marauding vikings of today?

US shoppers killed in gun rampage
While these events are terrible tragedy, I don't really see it as evidence that the US is on a path to destruction. I also wouldn't totally trust the education statistics that place the US way down. The fact is I still have a ton of parents that worked hard to send their kids to our schools, and the University system still pulls people from all over the world. So I wonder when games will be blamed? The kid was homeless, so I'm not sure how that will work, but I'm sure it will happen. Where the heck did this kid get a gun and ammo?

The Worst Game Endings
Space Quest, I loved that series as a kid. It took me two years to beat the first game, which wasn't helped by one situation where you needed to type 'put on jetpack' and not 'put jetpack on'. Heh, I was lucky enough to play the VGA version, which had taken on the point and click standard. King's Quest III was the hardest of the typing games that I played.

Movies you have seen lately
See, I'm on the opposite side of the fence there, Hurly. I thought Knocked Up was much funnier than Superbad. I can see where many people would. Knocked Up seems more like the more mainstream comedy than Superbad. But Knocked Up's humor was all based on stuff I went through fairly recently. Seriously, all the pregnancy stuff was funny, but when you go through 9 months of it, it's not as ha ha funny. Whereas High School was far enough removed for me to look at Superbad and laugh my ass off. I'm pretty sure I was one of those geeks, but I'm cool now, so it's humorous. S what I'm saying Kor, is once you stop being a geek and get a girl pregnant (they are related) you'll choose Superbad over Knocked up :D

NFL Season 2007
I actually think the Packers have a shot at defeating the Pats in such a match up. I'm nt sure if they can get to the big game, but if they do, Favre is plenty capable.
