    The crazy thing about free speech in the US is how many people make a really good living by pushing the boundaries of free speech. There are gigantic media properties entirely devoted to complaining loudly about the President.

    The lead actor seemed decent, and Walt's dad from LOST, but it looked pretty bad other than that.

    It's great that they are picking up a proven contributor, but I'm not going to call the 49er receiver corp golden yet. Both Crabtree and Johnson are coming off injuries, and Boldin is getting older. I hope they still find a decent prospect, hopefully someone that can be a deep threat.

    Community has been fighting to get renewed every year, so this isn't a huge surprise. But honestly this seems like a prime candidate for a pickup by Netflix or Amazon. Considering they've been touting 6 seasons and a movie for years, I'm guessing they have a story arc already fleshed out for a final season. Still, might be a few years before we see anything. edit: I guess Hulu has a better shot at getting a season, they have a deal already.

    Actually twenty some odd years ago, they had an officer come in and talk to me about the vandalism as well. I was sufficiently cowed, so not much happened, but I'm guessing there is more to the story if the kid ended up in cuffs. Notice there was nothing about an arrest, sounds like more of a scare tactic than anything else.

    I'm not sure that the anti-Steam contigency is actually that large, I think they are just vocal.

    Bester is actually a big fan of the US, so he puts up silly arguments so we can knock them down and show how great America is.

    Oddly enough, I got suspended when I was 12 for carving my name in a desk. I am pretty sure I deserved it. That is called vandalism.

    Free speech doesn't mean you get to bust into the White House and yell at the President.

    I'd say shooters attract worse folks than MMO's. It's also fairly easy to disable the general chat in most MMO's, which is where most of the garbage happens. You don't really miss much by doing so.

    I thought that thread was about TV news and reality shows, since I don't have a TV at home, TV series don't associate with TV in my mind talk about a misleading thread title Don't feel too bad, we used to have specific threads devoted to shows, and I think that was a better format. For example, the LOST thread was simply epic. If it was in a general thread, it would get lost among the shuffle.

    Yes to a certain degree that's correct. Its the same as the laws in your country and mine that prosecute people for racist comments or comments about rape using mediums like Twitter. So you should take this issue up with the UK justice department? Let me know what they say I would absolutely hate to live in such a country. We have the NSA mining our every communication but sure as hell the Feds won't come knocking whenever I quote hardcore gangsta rap (without due citation) on Twitter. Wow its funny you think that in the USA you can just say what you want with no consequences. What happened to Donald Stirling recently? He didn't get arrested, that's for sure. There are always consequences to open bigotry, the law doesn't need to get involved in everything.

    Yeah, if you send a pic of your weiner to someone unsolicited, you are definitely breaking a law. The tricky part is enforcement, but I'd say that is getting better every day.

    Men are horrible and gross. I'm fairly shocked that I got one to live with me. You guys would be best off accepting that, apologizing to every female you come in contact with, and trying to suppress all your base instincts and urges.

    Death Race 3 is pretty good too. Not like high quality good, but like a group of buddies who get together and make a fairly ridiculous movie about prison and car races. I'll probably watch Death Race 4.

    Odd Thomas - Strange, and then strangely powerful. Definitely worth a watch.

    I can't really think of a decent acting job in Episode 1. Darth Maul was forgettable, the kid was bad, etc. I guess the Emperor was ok. Episode 2 had McGregor loosen up and I thought he was the one bright point in terms of acting, and he carried that into Episode 3. In fact if I look at it strictly as the story of Obiwan, I tend to enjoy the whole plot much better. If they edited down all the Anakin parts it would probably vastly improve the movies.

    I actually only finished as a Malkavian, it was simply too entertaining to stop. Might not be best for the first playthrough, it's almost like playing a movie with the director's commentary. http://youtu.be/DSzyyscEnNU

    Yeah, you don't get away with that stuff in ESO! It's actually the most challenging MMO I've played. The loot is better too, they added a lot of set items that are somewhat interesting, plus you can craft a huge variety of things yourself. The theme park feel is pretty much the same though.
