It took some time, but it seems like Galaxy has finally become a pretty solid platform for gaming. I find myself using it more than Steam, and it is where I tend to look first when I am in the mood for a new game. Raithe is the only person I have friended though, so, I'll need to add some people. My son has also taken over my Steam account. The family mode on Steam still sucks.

There is a big sale too. I decided to pick up Outward on sale and give that a try.

Maybe Philosophy, Maybe Madness, Or Maybe just the Meme Quotes....

I'm not sure what the difference is between I care for you and you matter to me. I mean, I agree that very little words are needed the deeper a relationship gets, but I'm just not sure those phrases are the best example of that. I agree with Gromnir though. The only way 'goodbye' carries more weight than 'I love you' if it is followed by death. -
Very sad, he had 2 kids in the car. Thankfully it sounds like they survived. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt, which I just don't understand.

I like how we keep catch phrases alive here even when the poster who popularized it is gone. R00fles!

This thread title broke the internet.

Clearly you need a screen in front of that elliptical. Or get one of these new exercise MMO's that make you grind levels by doing physical activity. edit: I'm pretty happy running in the rain. Riding the bike is miserable though.

I've had some pretty good crab, but lobster has never appealed to me. I mean, it's really just the butter that people seem to love. edit: Of course, being a West Coast lifer, I've probably never had a chance to eat lobster fresh.

This is awesome. -
I played quite a bit and enjoyed the additions to the nemesis system. It didn't feel grindy at all, but I also didn't finish it. I got a solid 30 hours of sneaking around and listening it sassy orcs. I felt it was better than the original. I didn't notice anything about lootboxes.

I was pretty happy with the way WB handled the Shadows of Mordor games.

People are still opening coal mines?

I read all the books, watched the movies, bought wands for the entire family, and even enjoyed a Red Ale at the Hoghead Tavern on my recent trip to Universal Studios. So I'll definitely be playing Hogwarts Legacy. It does look like it has potential.

Jack Ryan Season 3 - This was a much better season than 2. I'd argue batter than season 1, since Mike November is fantastic as a side kick and Greer gets a lot of room to play too. It skirts the edges of the current Russian issues, which I assume is because it was all done before the war in Ukraine. Still, the Moscow connection makes for a thrilling setting and Ryan is back being an intelligence analyst instead of James Bond. I hope they keep making more.

Ticket prices are $12-16 in these parts. Matinee is the only way to go. -

He will need to drag it out over another 3 movies, I think. -

Her human body died, but it was not able to transfer over to the blue version like Jake did. So they kept her in the tank, I guess. She also gave birth, to like, herself? I don't know, don't look too closely at the science and you will probably be happier. -

It wasn't really a humans versus na'vi movie. It was really just Jake Sully an family on the run, with a bit of Whale Wars thrown in. I imagine we will get the big Pandora World War once Cameron has established all of the biomes. There is an entire human city now that was barely covered in the movie, so that will play a part going forward. -

I would say the same. Do you like whales and water more than trees and birds? That is the big change. As a parent with kids who don't listen, it was highly entertaining watching Jake Sully try and get his blue kids to listen to him. I'd probably say the character dynamics were better in the sequel. -

Avatar 2 has a chance to passing the $2 billion mark. That will give James Cameron 3 out of the top 6 highest grossing movies of all time. Like Titanic and the first Avatar, it is driven by repeated viewings, making the opening weekend numbers much less important than the length of its run. Not a big surprise, but I know there was some doubt here as to whether it would succeed. -

Apocalypse seems to have aged the worst out of the originals. It would be interesting to see a modern version of Xcom 3, with the futuristic setting. Although I also would be happy to see TFTD. Firaxis has already done a spinoff, so I would think they could do a deep sea one. Speaking of the classics, I think Xenonauts 2 is close to open beta. The game is already very solid in alpha.
