What are you playing right now?
Yeah, that never stopped being a problem for me. I was constantly trying to get more scrap metal. Towards the end I got better at choosing to run away when I had the option.

ESO: Morrowind is fantastic. They definitely nailed the vibe of the old game.

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread
That's not a real thing though. Just because a bunch of twitter wierdos tweet and some blog complains about it, doesn't make it an actual movement. This article is actually spreading the dumbness by bothering to react to it.

Terror attack in Manchester...
Well, the guy was born in Britain. His parents were immigrants, so you'd need to roll back to 20-30 years ago to actually make that argument work. How many of these attacks have been aided or abetted by the recent influx of refugees at this point?

Politics 2017 Act 6
It's mostly just the standard Muslims! scream and blaming the media and government for not jumping immediately to that conclusion. Which of course the obvious odds are this is the act of Muslim extremism. But that is basically the point of a terrorist attack, right? Ratchet up tension, try and justify a misguided holy war? I don't think it was about Arianna Grande's music.

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I'd say it's more like saying books are better after the printing press, maybe? I'm not sure I like the analogy enough to go further. Books became more widespread, and with it attention was brought to great authors and new ideas. You can say that has happened to video games today as well, given that the graphics and gameplay has advanced and a much larger audience is available. But in both cases, there were plenty examples of excellence before the technology blossomed. *shrug*

Bill Nye the Degeneracy Guy
Was there a point to that post other than the conceited disdain? I suppose I will never know, it is beyond me!

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
I don't know why anyone has hopes for the South Park game. They basically said "The first one was great, but we want to save a bunch of money on the sequel so we are going with an entirely different team." This is kind of what happened with the new Mass Effect, now that I think on it.

Bill Nye the Degeneracy Guy
Except this clip isn't from the kid's show. Feel free to find some clips from the kid's show that are brainwashing the youth.

Bill Nye the Degeneracy Guy
So I guess it's not a kid's show? No doubt that the Bill Nye clip is ridiculous, but the response is also ridiculous. Let's lecture everybody about sexuality!

Yeah, I survived much of the game by carrying those things around.

Geez, that 8th grader pulled 1.8 million views on his class project. That's impressive.

Sure, which is why the Andrew Jackson statue in NO isn't going anywhere. It is iconic.

I'm not quite sure what the statue has to do with historical preservation, though. I mean, unless that statue is placed in a location that is historically relevant. For example, my city will often put up different works of art in the downtown area, and then move them after a year or so and cycle in new stuff. Why are these statues untouchable? They aren't melting them down or anything crazy like that, they are placing them in an educational setting, it seems. Basically I agree with you that the reason is suspect for these statues to be moved (the PC angle) but I question whether they need to be there for historical preservation.

The Weird, Random, and Interesting things that Fit Nowhere Else Thread
I agree with GD. First off, the idea that a monument glorifies something is a bit off. The Vietnam war monument doesn't glorify the Vietnam war. It is a reminder of what our country has been through.
