  1. A lot of backers will be in the early beta test for the game so i suspect that final bug count will be minimal at the release. Just look how long WL2 is getting delayed because of this kind of testing and KS approach, and backers do not have much problem with that (at least I get this feeling). If I am not mistaken, originally WL2 should be released in 2013 and its not going to happen WL2 is delayed indefinitely because, frankly, the current state of it is very incomplete. It's not because bugs need to be fixed. We're talking about a combat system that's essentially ordering everyone to shoot, then clicking on end turn. That's the tactical depth of it at this time.
  2. I remember in Arcanum if you went magic you skipped past a whole bunch of plot than if you went tech. Also magic was horribly powerful. Tech was so weak. I might install and play it again today.
  3. A thoroughly tested RPG that doesn't ship with a million bugs. I'm hoping the QA staff that got hired at Obsidian find all the bugs so they can be fixed and the game shipped properly.
  4. I think the new stretch goals is for more wilderness maps and companions. I really hope Obsidian realizes they're already postponing the game past April and should not add more work. Just deliver on what you said you would. Then get this stuff into the "expansion" you're already listing on your backer reward portal.
  5. I already posted about how I won't back episodic content but I wanted to chime in with one more thought. Why change something that's very clearly working for you? You raised almost four million dollars. I realize from your other thread about raising more funds for a stretch goal that since: (1) People appear to expect more out of this project in terms of wilderness areas and companions. (2) You had some difficulty budgeting. Instead of changing your funding model, which frankly is working, why not change the way you budget, your tools and pipelines to be leaner? I'll happily back more if I thought you delivered on time and on budget. I'm willing to live with a slightly smaller world and story this time around. I figure most people would. Going episodic is changing your funding model. It seems to me, and I know this is bold, that you want to squeeze blood from a stone.
  6. I will not back anything episodic. I'm a slacker backer on this project because it initially had news of an expansion. Just raise the funds and deliver on time and budget. All these pie in the sky ideas will end up in disaster I think.
  7. I revised my vote to no since I do not want to see the game delayed. You're already charging $20 for an expansion. I'd focus on finishing what you have and then starting to work on the expansion.
  8. I really wish KS projects would take their timelines a little more seriously.
  9. I voted for more stretch goals but I'm going to assume that does not mean a later delivery for the game. That would suck
