Looking forward to it myself, is the new wargoals for AIs any good?

It can be super difficult, I did a Hard + Ghost playthrough of Dishonered. Rewarding but though. The key was patience, high ground and the right set of abilities. Timestop or possession is really great- choking guards and placing them in safe spots (ledges etc) helps too.

Hilarious old builder game, in which you are contracted to build housing for people- it's crazy politically incorrect, with everything from fascist white trash to snobby elitists and mob scare tactics to screw the competition.

Toward the middle of the game, I finally got into the stride, just going through checking off quests. The key is to have it in rotation, but not play it every day, it can't sustain that. I thought it was a little daunting getting into, I didn't quite grasp the combat and felt like it was quite a slog. I think I ended up restarting 3-4 times.. Found out the problem was I had taken classes that I just did not like. I just could not enjoy either Rogue, Priest, Barbarian or Cipher - they require a lot of imo redious micromanagenment, which sapped my spirit whenever I played. Then I tried druid and the game just opened up for me- the class can quite easily be played as both caster and melee, but my favorite playthrough was probably Paladin.

I'm thinking they'll hit shy of 2.5 million, depending on how enticing the stretchgoals are - I think the stronghold and 2 cities really drew in a lot of backers first time around.

We have been bombing basically every country between Egypt, Turkey and Iran for the better part of 15 years now, along with much of the north coast of Africa.. and then we get surprised when people want to escape the lawless hellholes we helped create. It's sobering to see just how irresponsible the West really is, the 20th century should have been lesson enough. I don't support or particularly like Russia's approach, but at least they seem to be working towards an end, rather than just 'bombing for the lulz' which most of the American led coalition (us included) have done for decades. If you create a mess, you're damn well responsible for cleaning it up... At least in the house I grew up in.

It's fairly fun, but a bit tricky to learn. The progression of your squad and tactics were well done and reminded me a bit trying to get a good squad going in Jagged Alliance, but I really wanted to play as the characters .. If you can relate, you should try playing Warhammer Endtime instead - it's Left 4 Dead in the Warhammer universe.

When we have AI that can perfectly synthesize voices that fit in the tone, dialect and delivery that the devs want - sure.. Until then it's often of too poor quality, weird dialect issues (especially in fantasy or sci fi titles). I think the Knight of the Old Republic games, were the only ones where I was generally happy with the VO work. A voiced protagonist is generally horrible, from Mark Veer's Commander Shephard to Brian T. Delaney's Fallout 4 work.. Please don't ever do that- it also takes away from the player's head-canon, maybe your character is a gruff type, sneering remarks. Good luck with that if they've hired a soft spoken main character.

All right, so in your opinion - was this the most popular inauguration event of all time? Not trying to goat you into anything, I just want to know whether you feel that Trump and the press corp is more reliable than the media in general.

It's nowhere near what East vs West was looking up to be, but it does the job well enough I think. It's even better in multiplayer though, as many events cross fire depending on what the other player does. -
Par for the course - but the way they're going about it is worrying. My hope is that this will bring back true investigative journalism, ever since the early 00s the press has acted as neutered lapdogs for their particular political bloc. With everyone kinda hating the current administration, this might bring back the bulldogs. The government should fear the press, not threaten it with sanctions.. and the press should fear loosing integrity, not gobble whichever treat indiscriminately, they are handed by spin-doctors and the governments press corp.

Gotta say though, the whole Kellyanne Conway 'Alternative facts', is the strongest North Korean vibe I've ever gotten from a western news media. And Spicers "These attempts to lessen the enthusiasm of the inauguration are shameful and wrong" .. Sounds like something out of a Soviet era news reel. When pressed on the issue, which makes sense, since you know- media kinda have to press you on the facts, Conway just flat out threatened the press "If we're going to keep referring to the press secretary in those types of terms I think we're going to have to rethink our relationship here," .. Which seems extraordinarily petty for a White House representative. I was willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt.. But having his press corp blatantly lie, so early, in this fashion, over something so trivial, makes me a nervous about how he's going to handle the really embarrassing things, which any administration goes through.

It's Kaiserreich. I hadn't played it before, and I'm starting to understand why it's so highly rated. It has way more events than vanilla and the outcomes are more variable. In three games, I had three different outcomes for Russia by '41 for instance: social democratic under the Tsar, steamrolling Germany; Nazi superpower facing off against commie France, and a continuation of the Russian Civil War with the Soviets controlling the European part. I'm loving it. Ah, I've been meaning to check that out - I play with The New World Order 2, which does a pretty good job of simulating the cold war. If Soviet Russia and America wins of course. -

Is that standard in Darkest Hour? I don't recall seeing that event chain. -
Julian Assange claimed repeatedly that he would turn himself in if Manning 'got clemency', but of course won't turn himself in since Manning didn't get released immediately.

This is the funniest to me - it's an almost comically 'we've always been at war with Euroasia' situation.
